This is my review for the McKlein Daley Leather Attaché Briefcase. This is an excellent quality briefcase. I am so pleased with the quality of this briefcase. It is everything I expected and hoped it would be when it arrived. It took UPS several stated delivery dates to finally actually deliver it when they said it was out for delivery, but it was well worth the wait. UPS is an awesome but they are minus 20,000+ employees, so the delay was understandable in that regard. More about the good quality of this briefcase: It is rich in color, thick, well-padded, has good quality locks, and has strong hinges that support keeping the lid open during use. It’s truly a great quality product all around. I am so happy I ordered this from Target - a company that I have not ordered from in a long time. It was a good decision because it lead me to Daley McKlein, and the quality is everything I desired. I think about what I would want to know about a product before ordering. When I spend my money I expect and should receive great quality products when sold at a premium prices. I want real cowhide leather that I recognize if that is what’s advertised, thick leather that resists flaking, peeling, and fading, and leather that is sewn with proper leather thread. This briefcase is all that and more beautiful than the website shows. The quality is excellent. Thank you, Target and McKlein Daley.

My parter has had, for years, one of these, and the left buckle has always been busted. I bought my own six months ago for a new office job; within three months, the same defect occurred (on the left side) -- the buckle seized up and wouldn't open until it was painstakingly pried. My documents were no longer elegantly secured. I returned the defective product and bought another -- the very first time I tried to close it, just minutes after I'd transferred over my documents, the buckle (still on the left side) seized up again, and would not open until pried. The issue is not with my memory -- I've been using the same numeric code for longer than I'm proud of. I can only conclude this is a consistent product design failure.

My husband Loves both briefcases,the black is not as deep,but we managed to get everything in,just needs to break it in some,he put the other one up,till later use.
