Okay but not effective
Does not work as easily as advertised. Tried rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, and this is my last hope to get rid of tree sap from neighborhood trees on everywhere of my car. Tried extremely hard to scrub those spots and they won’t come off easily like tutorial videos showing you. My advice here is be careful where you park!!!!!

Try WD-40 for road paint!!!
It didn’t work to well on the plastic side parts of my vehicle (Jeep renegade) I attempted removing the road paint and found out WD-40 worked much better than this. I’ll attempt again and maybe my review will change but for now WD-40 is doing the job.

Works well on rust stains
A leak in our garage ceiling resulted in a rust mosaic on the hood and bumper of our white car. It was not easy but this clay bar kit took the spots off. I spent three hours on only the bumper and hood. The result was shinier than I would have imagined and once my arms recuperate I intend to buy more and do the entire car.

Worked good on white paint
My 3 yr old, white SUV was covered in tiny rust colored flecks. This worked great at removing all the surface flecks. Took a lot of elbow grease, but car looks and feels like new again. One annoyance, the spray bottle trigger in the kit would not work. Had to go back up to store for one that worked.

It did make my car smooth and shiny but didn’t remove much. Maybe some sap and actually a little red spray paint that was on my car. Did not remove water stains. Mostly any rough texture stuck to my car. Work in small sections dry. Like karate kid!

garbage
i love meguiars stuff,but not this!! i had some bird poop that left a stain on my new truck,i tried everything to remove it. seen all the reviews on the clay bar how it removes all this stuff.all it did was leave a strange film that i had a heck of a time removing. so after a hour of fighting with the film it left,it went in the garbage.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Clay is designed to remove contaminants that are bonded/stuck to the surface. It will not help with a stain as you have described. Great Package
The clay is very soft and effective.. By far this was the easiest clay I've worked with. Contaminant removal will take a few swipes but because it's so easy to break and mold I can live with it being less aggressive.

No clay in box
I ordered this online and went to pick it up in the store. Took me a few days to get round to doing the job and when I opened it the containing that was supposed to contain the clay was empty!! When I picked it up I noticed that the box had been opened but didn't think someone would be so crass as to steal the contents. Target did refund me my money.

Will Buy Again & Again
Hands down the best thing I've bought for my car at Target. I washed the car first than started section by section with the detail spray and clay. Now I've been trying for at least 1 year to get specks off my car and what looked like tiny tiny rust spots off my car. This took it off all in 1 day. Practically making my car look brand new. You will definitely need to put a little muscle into this when trying to get spots out, but it is BEYOND worth it. Will be buying again and again in the future.
