MEINL Solea Line Artisan Pickup Cajon

The Soleá Line cajon has been artisan designed by master cajon builder José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz. The Soleá Line features two groupings of four pre-tuned metal micro-coiled cajon strings. These strings are hand-wound and span across the inside of the playing surface. Inside the Soleá Line cajons is a special bass reflex system that enhances low end notes for a deeper bass sound. Rounded corners and thumb notches on the top of the frontplate optimize playing comfort and sound. The 9-ply, 12 mm thick Baltic birch resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth. The Soleá Line cajon is made in Spain. When amplification is needed, inside the cajon is a Piezo pickup, with tone and volume control on the outside. A quarter inch cable port allows to send signal through any amp or PA system.
