I am female, 5’8 155lbs, more muscular than most females, thick thighs and butt. I started wearing my husband’s boxer briefs when I was pregnant because that’s all that fit me. Now I just like them for comfort. I have tried many boxer briefs: 90 degrees, Hanes, new balance, Underarmour, etc. These are not good. I bought the large for a looser fit. They are large in the waist for me, as expected, but tight in the thighs. If you have any sort of muscle in your leg, pass on these. The material is scratchy and not buttery smooth like most of my other boxers. I’m hoping after a few washes they will soften. I hope they don’t shrink because then they will be right and uncomfortable. You definitely get what you pay for. I can not advise on genital comfort as I do not have those lol, but take my advice and try something else. I’ll update on how they wash.

Have been purchasing these for the past 3-4 years! These are breathable cotton, my husband loves the waistband, it’s very comfortable and feels nice on your skin. Does make your area smell from sweat like fully synthetic or athletic boxers do. Run true to size as well!

Weird seams...briefs with legs sewn on?

These appear to be briefs with legs sewn on. There are somewhat uncomfortable seams on either side where the “legs” were sewn on. They’re thick, I don’t think that speaks to quality though. They’re warm, almost exactly what one would expect from polyester, not a 95/5 cotton/spandex blend. I won’t be buying these again. While the ones from Old Navy *could* be more expensive, they’re more than worth it. No weird seams. No overheating.

I wanted to transition from boxers to boxer briefs. Did not want to buy expensive ones so tried Hanes first. Hanes' quality was exceptionally low. Goodfellows quality in contrast is much better. Fitting, material and especially waist band is perfect also scrotal support is perfect
