The Georgia Boot Wedge Waterproof Work Boot takes comfort and durability to the next level.The upper on this 6 waterproof wedge lace-up work boot features our premium SPR leather. It's three times as strong and two and a half times more abrasion resistant compared to traditional leathers. It resists caustic alkalis and other barnyard acids. Additional features on the upper include dual functioning hardware, the heel stabilizing Counter Lock System and a padded tongue and collar.The interior is lined in mesh and is equipped with the Georgia Waterproof system, guaranteed to keep your feet dry when working in wet conditions. A padded counter pocket gives your heel added support. Also inside is the removable AMP LT insole. A layer of polyurethane topped with memory foam to keep your feet cradled in all day comfort.The foundation of this wedge work boot starts with a fiberglass shank for added support and durability followed by a cushioning EVA midsole. The final layer is the outsole, comprised of our Carbo-Tec rubber, a proprietary blend that contains great slip, oil, , abrasion and heat resisting properties.

    Great material

    Didn't last a year

    Bought these boots December of last year its now November and I need a new pair! They didn't even last a year. Holes in the toes and cracks along where the leather meets the rubber soles...

    Shop Stompers

    I have only had them for a couple of weeks but I’m impressed. They fit perfect, no break in and very comfortable. I always had thorogoods but they no longer supply the model I normally get so I searched for quite a while to find what I wanted. I wanted a 6” water proof wedge sole with a round toe and found that combo quite elusive till I found these. They’re perfect, light and very well made. Everything I found with 6” wedge had the moc toe and I can’t have that in an environment of welding and torches, the shower of sparks burn the stitches out of the top. So I was elated to find these. My new go to!

    The best boots for everthing you do

    I’ve been buying these boots for long time. I’m an iron worker and it’s extreme somtimes from mud to fire these boots last about 2 years so thats saying something. I won’t buy any other boot, and i have went through alot of boot brands and georgia boots hold up longer than any other. Also these boots are super comfy after a 12 hour shift my feet don’t hurt at all. With wool socks they are also very warm. Always my favorite boot every time!

    Good boot, Terrible Insoles

    I’ve had these boots for 6 weeks now. I purchased cause of them being waterproof and the LT amp comfort. They are very waterproof and do a good job repelling water. The sides are cushiony and very soft. The insoles on the other hand were not as comfortable as I expected them to be. After wearing them daily for 6 weeks the insoles are already ripping and need to be replaced. Boots seem to have quality material, aside from the cheap insoles they provide. When purchasing these boots prepare to buy different insoles within a couple months of using.

    Nice boot but didn’t hold up

    I bought these on Thursday. Just wearing around the house the nothing physical the top lace latch (not sure what it’s called) broke on Sunday. Considering I got these for every day use not really happy about it.

    Excellent boots!

    These are by far one of the most comfortable/durable boots I’ve worn. I’ve had them for a few months and they’ve held up wonderfully. I grease them for some waterproofing when the leather needs treating or it’s raining but even then they remain breathable. I wouldn’t recommend these as a winter boot. This is an excellent summer boot and the quality is better than most in its class.

    Super comfortable but

    I've had these boots since 12/1/2020 and initially I loved them and would have given them a 5 star easy. But I was just working out in the snow and I felt the dreaded wet toes. After trying to deal with it for 2 hours I had to cut the day short cause my tires were frozen. If you are an inside worker and only go through water from your truck to your jobsite 5 star easy. But if you are outside working on the elements find yourself another boot.

    Insoles will quickly disintegrate...

    I bought these maybe two months ago, and the black liner fell off the first couple days on the insoles. They feel gross and moist within an hour leaving my socks wet when I'm done for the day not even working in rain.. here is a picture

    Looks great feels even better

    Have had various versions of the Athens series boots , lace ups, pull ons, etc and I loved them but this boot is a completely different feel a d design. Glad I purchased these no regrets
