    Fresh, Soft & Chewy Mint ... Most of the Time

    My family & I enjoy getting these on special occasions. When we do, we usually purchase them from Target. In the past, they have been fresh & soft when you chew them; however, when we started buying them recently, that isn't always the case, unfortunately. Sometimes they are fresh & soft, but occasionally have we come across a bag that appears to be stale, where the candies are harder & much more difficult to chew. After examining the bags of the bags of the candies that are more difficult to chew, the 'purchase by' date is still future dated, which we find puzzling, so we don't know what causes this inconsistency. Overall, we would recommend this product.
