A: I measured nearly 16" from the ground and the seat itself is nearly 2" thick

A: someone would have to break 2 bolts to collapse this chair. heavy people have used mine with no problem. These are very sturdy. The sturdiest I've ever used

Love the Blue Retro Chairs
Better than expected. Took about 20 minutes to put together. Good metal weight, comfortable ( altho I will buy seat pillows just because). Was going to buy genuine vintage chairs but all the work to restore was 3-4 times the amount of money these cost. $75 each take or give couple of dollars is fair price. Thank you for not selling junk.

Pretty to look at but terrible to assemble
I can't believe some buyers stated it was easy to assemble. My husband and I have put together many pieces of furniture over the years and none were as difficult as this. It took a very long time to finally get it put together. It is a very pretty chair but I would never buy another one unless it came already assembled.

Love these chairs! My great-grandparents had this style of chairs when I was a kid and I always enjoyed sitting on their front porch in these. Each component of the chair was well-wrapped in packaging to prevent any dents/scratches. Assembly took approximately 20 minutes per chair; I only needed an extra set of helping hands when attaching the seat to the legs. These two chairs now sit on our front porch and have been used by kids and adults alike. They are so comfortable! They even came with rubber protection feet to not scuff up the metal legs.
