Michigan Kitchen Cart - Buylateral

If I could give a zero I would ! I ordered RED and what I got was burgundy!

This I’m really is a beautiful and better cart than most! The only reason it cant have 5 stars is because the doors are hard to align or just won’t align. No matter how I adjusted them, they have gaps that make it look wonky and definitely not as tightly assembled as the picture shown. The doors are smaller so there will be gaps as it seals. The drawers look great & seem to fit perfect! Assembly took an hour. It had zero flaws, chips or dings so that’s good news. This cart wants to be fabulous but the darn front doors make it finish a tad cheap looking. (Ps I added different nobs- my purchase & choice)

I bought this last year ! I absolutely love this addition to my kitchen . Easy to put together!

I only gave this four stars because of the space between the drawers. I tried to adjust it following the directions but still haven’t been successful at closing the gap completely (but I read reviews prior to purchasing, so I figured it would happen and not a big a deal for me). It’s really sturdy; some pieces weren’t labeled but still really easy to assemble. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase (but I got it on sale for $150, not a huge difference, but probably wouldn’t pay $230).

Despite following the assembly instructions correctly, there is a large gap between the two doors of the bottom cupboard. I'm extremely disappointed about that but otherwise the piece is just fine.

The cabinet appears to be sturdy. The only issue is the amount of time it took to put it together. It states 2 people for 2 hours. It took 2 people 4 hours. Would also have preferred a back that was not hard thick poster board.

This item is pretty cute and looks like what the picture shows. I'm pretty good at putting things together so it was easy for me, just took time and patience. Couple of things that threw me off - I get it, you kind of can't beat the price, but I noticed a couple of defects on the front doors. Two places where the wood just seems to be pealing off or something with the grain not staying attached. I wasn't really in the mood to start sending pieces back and you can't really tell, now that they are together .. But I know they are there and I can see them and I'll have to be careful when cleaning them. Also, I can't seem to get the doors to hang perfectly. I've tried a couple of different times now to adjust the hinges but I don't think they will ever be perfectly aligned. Again, I'm not too bothered by it but I'm a little mystified. The drawer (it's just one but looks like two) is kind of small. Overall, it's pretty good for the price. Fits the purpose of what I needed it for.

So cute, perfect for my kitchen. A little difficult to put together as there a lot of parts, but hubby did it so what’s not to love! Very sturdy and lots of storage. Very reasonably priced.

The cabinet is nice for storage and mobility. Instructions are poor/confusing and most of the parts were not labeled. Assembly of this cart has not been convenient at all.

Good Quality worth the price. My girlfriend wanted something like this for her kitchen and she said it could not be more perfect!

Like the completed cabinet. Did not like the assembly or the instructions. Takes longer than 2 hrs and the parts are not labeled. Next time I will spend a little more and get a product that is solid wood with no pressboard.

Good quality materials. Assembly is easy. Instructions are good. We inventoried all pieces and parts. Nothing was missing. Good idea to separate ll the different assembly bolts, screws, etc. A power screw-driver would be helpful for the small wood screws to mount the casters and the door hinges. We are using this cabinet as a storage area in our art studio in an apartment. Also, delivery was on the day scheduled. Very pleased with purchase.

Good quality, sturdy, well-designed cart. We forgot to install the metal dowels when we were putting the spice shelf together and we had to take it almost entirely apart to add them later. So don't do that! The drawer is smaller than I had hoped; it is just 10.5" deep and 21" wide, so my silverware caddy doesn't fit. However I will find smaller silverware holders and enjoy the new cart!

Only thing I truly did not like is the assembly. Many items were missing sticker that told which section was being referred to in the instruction. And the worse was all the bolts, nuts, screws were all in one big bag leaving us to try and figure out what was what with the hundreds of bolts and screws!

The size and weight of the box can be a challenge for one person, but I was able to manage it. The assembly directions are not very clear, but I could follow them. I could tell from the way it was assembled that it would be very sturdy and reliable. The doors were the biggest challenge, just in terms of adjusting them so that they would be even. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time and patience, and you will be rewarded with a great addition to your kitchen!

I love this cart! Just the right size for my kitchen. The red isn't quite as bright as it appears in the picture, which is nice, and it was a hundred dollars cheaper than the other color options. I am a 21 year old woman and I took my time and assembled it in about 2 1/2 hours, but just be warned, in my case many pieces weren't labeled, and the pictures aren't super clear in the instructions. Also the package is rather large and heavy if that is a concern for you. Yes there is a gap between the doors, but that doesn't bother me at all! Also yes, the drawer is only one (pretty small) drawer, not two. On to the good things though, the wood top looks very nice in my kitchen. It's quite sturdy when the wheels are locked, and there's plenty of storage space underneath! Also, I used the towel rack for paper towels instead and that's perfect. I had no counterspace otherwise in my apartment, and this provides the perfect amount of space for my baking needs! Would definitely recommend the red one! At $155, it's size and value beats the other carts in it's price range. I hope this review answers for you some of the questions I had. (:

The package I received in the mail was big and heavy. I needed help moving it from front gate to door. The materials were well protected. Thank you, delivery drivers and packers! It took some time to unpack from the package. I first made sure all pieces, nuts and bolts were accurately counted for before putting the cart together. It took some time to put the spice rack together. It just wouldn't fully connect from side to side. Turns out that one of the metal rods to hold in the spice (the lowest one) didn't fully fit in the precut holes. I suppose the hole wasn't deep enough. After removing the rod, everything fit into place. Not a big deal, there's still another rod connected close enough to hold anything long or tall. Everything else was a breeze but needed some elbow grease. Only complaint about the island that the doors have a noticeable gap when it's closed. Aesthetically, that annoys me. The drawer also glides out too far out if tugged hard. I subtracted 1 star for all these little things that could have made the cabinet perfect. Also, I LOVE putting furniture together -- the instructional pictures were legible and simple to understand. I recommend this cart!

We love our new kitchen cart. It is beautifully designed and produced and easy to assemble. The color adds sparkle to an ordinary room. It's small enough not to be obtrusive but large enough to hold a myriad of electronic and other gadgets and the extra counter space is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

good quality, beautiful cart, a breeze to assemble. yes, it has only 1 drawer (must be typo). I made a mistake assembling the drawer. I emailed the company and the response was immediate. within few days I received new parts for the drawer - very happy with the support AND the cart!

The description states that it has 2 drawers. That appealed to me. However, when I received it, it only has one drawer. It looks in the pictures that it is 2. There are 2 knobs. But 2 knobs does not mean 2 drawers. Don't follow assembly instructions. They are backwards. Wheels should be the last thing to put on.
