⭐️⭐️ Misleading and disappointing My daughter bought these along with the mini vinyl record player also sold at Target, thinking they would work together. Unfortunately, they’re not compatible at all. It’s really misleading to sell mini playable vinyl records and a mini record player alongside each other when they don’t actually work together—especially when the target market is kids who would naturally assume they’re compatible. Really disappointing and frustrating.

Cute Garbage?
So it's cute yes. Purchased for my doll house. But...it does NOT work. Spins and hisses, that's it. No music clip. Very expensive for a non working piece. Ticked I have to hike it back to a store 40 minutes away because they wouldn't let me ship it back. Total crap all around.

What is going on!
Purchased the player in store and was told more record balls we're on the way to the store. I found two boxes full on the shelf last week and brought 3 to front to check out, but items would not scan. Employee scanned them and I was told I could not purchase them because they were supposed to be sent back to the manufacturer. What am I supposed to do with a single record that only plays for a short while, not even a full song. Seems like a scam. Might as well return it.

Sadly disappointed with this. Everything about this should be cool and it is really neat, but it only plays a 30 second clip of the song. No where on the packaging or in the information about the product on Target's site tells you this. Every bit of marketing says it plays songs, not song clips. I cannot recommend.

Loud motor!
The design is cute and compact and I like that it's rechargeable. It doesn't bother me that it only plays song clips. What did bother me is the loud grinding noise the player makes (not talking about the vinyl crackle). I hoped it was a defect, but it seems to be pretty common. They probably made the speaker so loud to try to drown out the noise.

Cute but mixed experience
My experience has been mixed. I pre-ordered my player plus 1 ball in May and received in the mail the products on June 1. The player worked fine 1X and then started playing only 2 or 3 secs! 😭 I got the run around from the manufacturer when I contacted Zuru, who just wasted my time and didn’t do anything for me. Meanwhile I figured out on my own that it was the player and not the vinyls that was defective so I returned that and repurchased another player in the store, which was annoying. Then about 10 days later, Target pulled all the balls due to a profane word on one vinyl that someone complained about. Any honest reviews with negative points here have been downvoted to oblivion so Zuru, is that you? Haha, anyways, it’s still super cute but fyi, beware of faulty players, which seems to have happened to others too. Also, they should be playing about 30 second clips but do have a slightly staticky sound so it doesn’t sound as clear as on social media. Still worth collecting if you enjoy working mini things!
