Guests are saying
This mini record player is a charming addition for those who love collectibles and nostalgia. While it features a cute design and is rechargeable, many guests express disappointment over its functionality, as it only plays short clips of songs instead of full tracks. Despite its limitations, it remains a fun toy for kids and collectors alike, though guests recommend checking compatibility with records before purchasing.

Entertaining and can launch a load of conversations about “back in the day.” There are a variety of mini vinyls to try out, collect and trade.

Feels like a scam
Cute, but only plays a 30 second clip of the song. Not really worth $20 for the player and $10 for additional “record” sets for a 30 second clip. Unfortunately, I bought two of these and both were opened so they can’t even be returned.

Packaging is misleading...not a real record player
The record player does not actually play the records. It seems to read a computer chip in each record and play a recorded clip of the song. My kid was disappointed.

Great IF you are okay not hearing the entire song. Waste of money for me personally since it feels like a waste of time too. Plus side:I like the artists they chose to put on the records! Cute for doll house;)

Misleading
⭐️⭐️ Misleading and disappointing My daughter bought these along with the mini vinyl record player also sold at Target, thinking they would work together. Unfortunately, they’re not compatible at all. It’s really misleading to sell mini playable vinyl records and a mini record player alongside each other when they don’t actually work together—especially when the target market is kids who would naturally assume they’re compatible. Really disappointing and frustrating.

Wast of money!
Bought in June and just now using. Well trying to use it. The arm needle won’t stay down and the lid came defected… ugh!

Cute Garbage?
So it's cute yes. Purchased for my doll house. But...it does NOT work. Spins and hisses, that's it. No music clip. Very expensive for a non working piece. Ticked I have to hike it back to a store 40 minutes away because they wouldn't let me ship it back. Total crap all around.

Don't Waste Your Money
Only plays 30 seconds of the song. If I had known that I never would have bought it. Complete waste of money.

Never worked correctly
Worthless, did not work right out of the box, not even once. Charged it, and still just hissed and stuttered. I'm sure sometimes other devices work, but not going to try again.

Pay attention to which records you get for this player
Does not play mini verse records. Make sure to check which records you buy for this player. The center part is not the same shape to spin mini verse records.

What is going on!
Purchased the player in store and was told more record balls we're on the way to the store. I found two boxes full on the shelf last week and brought 3 to front to check out, but items would not scan. Employee scanned them and I was told I could not purchase them because they were supposed to be sent back to the manufacturer. What am I supposed to do with a single record that only plays for a short while, not even a full song. Seems like a scam. Might as well return it.

Sadly disappointed with this. Everything about this should be cool and it is really neat, but it only plays a 30 second clip of the song. No where on the packaging or in the information about the product on Target's site tells you this. Every bit of marketing says it plays songs, not song clips. I cannot recommend.

Loud motor!
The design is cute and compact and I like that it's rechargeable. It doesn't bother me that it only plays song clips. What did bother me is the loud grinding noise the player makes (not talking about the vinyl crackle). I hoped it was a defect, but it seems to be pretty common. They probably made the speaker so loud to try to drown out the noise.
