First of its kind? Nope.

I have never used a MiniMeis. I wanted to mention that I don’t believe this is the first of its kind. During my childhood, which is started in 1966, my parents would take me to Rocky Mountain National Park with them. When they were hiking, they put me in what was called a Hike-A-Poose. Sp? that was strapped on their shoulders. As I recall, it was made of hollow soldered metal pieces and canvas. I don’t think that it had terrific neck support compared to the MiniMeis. It also had no cover to shade my head from the sun. Redhead plus summer sun equals sunscreen lotion. 😎

1000 miles and I keep going

I've walked over 500 miles probably over 1000 with my son and then daughter. Both kids loved it. The crazy part is anytime I put it on I get stopped by people asking what it is and where can they get it etc. Some cons. I am a big guy so I need to duck a lot at doors and small ceilings etc Also I needed to get extension for my shoulders because I was too large for the standard, not sure if they fixed that on the newer one here. I'd also recommend getting the accompanying backpack diaper bag because other bags can't fit comfortably.
