Mobile Warming Mens Peak Heated Soft Shell Vest

I really like this vest. This is my second one because my first one was stolen. I have also purchased two others as gifts. Great addition to my coaching apparel.

The battery lasts about half as long as claimed and I spend more time trying to keep it at the heat level I want than I should. The button is in the absolute worst place they could’ve put it. It cycles to the next setting with every step. If you’re buying this for anything more than sitting in a cool room, save your sanity and buy the Milwaukee product. This is one step above garbage

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased this last fall for general wear. I have found that I am making my wardrobe fit around it now. Wear it over a shirt for the hockey arenas, under a winter jacket, or over a sweater around the camp fire. I do charge it regularly but have not had a moment yet where I ran out of juice (aside from my own charging neglect). As they state clearly on the site, the sizes do run small. I am typically a large and the XL fits perfectly. My only issue has nothing to do with the vest or Fieldsheer, it the fact that I had packed it in a suitcase, got on a plane and when I landed, I found out that security had removed the battery pack as it was against regulations to have battery packs anywhere but carry-on. (I called to have it mailed but they said I would need to pick it up from the airport which is silly seeing that I was at the airport to travel home 3000kms.) Now I need to pickup another battery. No incentive for this review, the questions during the survey did not have a "No" option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this vest. I use it for both work and play. The heating is great. It holds the heat much better if you wear a layer over it. The low setting is plenty warm if I wear a good insulated layer over it even when the temperature is well below freezing. My only issue is the location of the power button. I work as a ski instructor often teaching kids. This means I am constantly bending over a helping little kids. With the power button located at the waist it is constantly getting pushed. Extremely frustrating. Last time I wore the vest when teaching kids I ended up unplugging the battery. I am curious why the power button was put in a location where it can frequently be unintentionally pressed. This is an very poor design. I have thought about purchasing a base layer top, but the power button location has stopped me from doing so. How do you tuck in a base layer top when the power button will be located directly under your belt? I did not receive an incentive for the review. I seem to always be bumping the button and changing the heat setting. The location of the power button near the waist line is a poor design. I have the older Fieldsheer Alpine jacket with the power button located on the upper chest area which is a much better design/location. I have never accidentally bumped that button and changed heat settings and it is much easier to access when I do want to change heat settings. I find it much easier to push the power button up on my chest than having to dig out my phone to change it with Bluetooth or having to move around clothes to try to get to the button by my waist line. It would be a 5* + if the power button was located in the upper chest area. One other issue is having to dig out the battery to turn on the battery when I want to turn the heat on. If you turn the heat off the battery turns off and you have to dig out the battery and turn it back on before you can turn on the vest's heating function. I have an older Fieldsheer battery were you just plug the battery in and it is ready to go whenever you want to turn on the heating function. You don't have to dig out the battery and turn it on before you can turn the heating function on. I did NOT receive an incentive for this review. Nice fit to use under coat just what I had thought it should be works well

My old vest had a higher collar which was nice for breaking the wind on the motorcycle. This one did not have that. Otherwise I'm happy with it

We want to again thank you for the excellent customer service we received in the replacement of a defective vest we had received previously. Great product and was very helpful to my husband Ron who lobes to ice fish but has extensive rheumatoid arthritis. He is already wearing his new vest here in cold Northern Wisconsin. It is nice when a company stands behind it's products. We did notice a slight design modification on the new vest. The little pocket for the batter and wires to settle in may be protective to the tension put on the battery wires.

The vest is great - offers the right amount of warmth with another jacket on top in some of our Michigan weather - or just by itself when not so cold. Very happy!!

This doesn't run small because it stretches. It's perfect for labor work. I don't feel restricted. Bought an XL where my other vest from this company is a 2XL.

I'm 5' 7" ,175lbs, chest measurement 41 inches, I wear it over two tee shirts (a short sleeve and long sleeve) With a zip up sweatshirt over that. On high it's HOT and gets HOT fast. It's got stretchy material on the sides so if you're a 42 chest it should fit fine. Fieldsher make this vest in khaki and I'll buy it too!

The vest is fit really good and it does the job and keys you really warm, maybe too warm. I'm very satisfied with it.

The vest fits well and looks great on. Not bulky at all and you honestly cannot tell that it is heated. My husband also finds it comfortable under a jacket.
