About this item
In case anyone still needs proof that Michael Jackson was a giant celebrity, it can be found in the fact that no one less than Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis edited his autobiography. The first edition came out hot on the shimmying heels of his bestselling album BAD, languishing for more than 20 years before it got revamped upon his death in 2009. Jackson is without a doubt one of the 20th-centuries biggest stars--a gifted entertainer with a tragically controversial personal life. He was always a shy person, and so this first-person account of his early career--written near its apex--is a must-read for fans.
A rerelease of the autobiography of the King of Pop discusses his fame, his first love, his plastic surgery, and his exceptional career and the often bizarre rumors that surrounded it, and augments these reflections with rare personal photos.
