Alright read
The concept is really interesting. The follow through left a lot of frustration about gaps in communication about this world that was created. It was a decent book. I would not read it again though. Members of my book club REALLY enjoyed it, so I think it was mostly a personal preference in styles of writing.

The book came in just two days and looked great. I have had some problems with the condition when they’ve been shipped from other stores but they made sure it was wrapped and then put in the box. I absolutely loved this book. A great story line and some spice.

I could not put this book down. The spicyness of some scenes surprised me. The details are so vivid. Still loved every thing about it. We see his hard yet soft side. And we see her gentle (borderline weak) yet committed /stubborn side

Such a let down
I LOVE the trope of Persephone and Hades. You know generally what’s going to happen but as long as it’s well written and the dynamics are tantalizing plus some smut and it’s sure to be amazing, right? Unfortunately this book tripped as soon as it got off the blocks. The language is terribly, incredibly cringy with so many cliche’s at the most expected times. Seriously I was constantly rolling my eyes. The author repeats the same sentiment over and over and over again in the same manner to try to get the point across rather than describing gestures, facial expressions or interpretation of any sort. Oh god and the adult scenes! They have absolutely no build up. Just jolt straight into it and then jolt just as quickly out. I’m super disappointed. Would not recommend.

Good but wanted more
This was the first paperback book I’ve owned and it was worth it. This Hades and Persephone retelling is very interesting but the author definitely went off the plot to focus more on the characters intimate scenes. I did expect more to happen around the end but overall am not disappointed. Would definitely recommend if you’re getting into 🌶 books. Currently reading “Electric Idol”

Great romance read
Totally disagree with the “would not recommend” reviews! This is definitely a book to get you back into reading or excited to read. There is definitely more of a focus on the smut but the plot is still a good retelling of hades/Persephone and offers a really interesting perspective. More for a YA or 20 year old but anyone who likes romance, lots of smut and a good story.

A new way of telling the Hades and Persephone story, also if you love graphic romances this is for you. I loved it. Dirty mind only.
