Shame on US Nutella
I had this ice cream in Italy 2 yrs ago and was excited to discover it's now in the US. BIG difference- here instead of pure sugar it's corn syrup, the hazelnut content gets reduced from European 13-14% to US 7-8%. The result is ours is much sweeter (sugar rush) and less hazelnut flavor. Again we Americans are being cheated from it's potential. Shame on you again Nutella,

Honestly this is the best tasting ice cream I have had in a minute it tasted exactly like Nutella, very creamy reminds me ice cream in Europe.

As someone who isn’t a huge Nutella fan, I wasn’t sure how it would go.the flavor is pleasant in ice cream though. There’s a thick layer on top that you crack into to get the ice cream. There’s ice cream contains Nutella and hazelnuts as well as a rich chocolate flavor. It reminded me of a rocky road ice cream flavor wise. My family enjoyed sharing it and we would get it again.

You could easily share the container with a couple close friends, or keep for yourself for later. I'd purchase again to treat myself after a week of good workouts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this that the first thing I did when I got home was grab a spoon started digging in. I love the tops on this, it's so rich and has such a satisfying crunch. The ice cream melts so smoothly and has such a pleasant sweetness. If you enjoy Nutella, you will 100% enjoy this, it's just that good. I had to stop myself from eating too much because I had unconsciously eaten half the pint. Definitely recommend!!

The best part is cracking through the Nutella chocolate shell on top. The first mix of shell and ice cream is pure bliss. The flavor balance between hazelnut and cocoa is great. There is a moment towards to the end where the chocolate starts to feel a bit overwhelming since everything is melting. It's still delicious, just better not finishing it all in one sitting.
