Description
This is the original Oatmilk in a shelf-stable carton so you can store it at room temp. It’s a great plant-based go-to product for just about everything, and provides the kind of oatsome deliciousness that would make other drinks exceptionally jealous. But since it’s made of liquid oats, and liquid oats are incredibly humble, well then, jealousy is not an issue. When should you use it? Whenever you’d use old-school milk from cows—chilled in a glass, on your cereal, in your smoothies, in all your cooking and baking—in exactly the same amounts. Simply a 1:1 swap. So easy.

So good!
I love how convenient this milk is. We typically buy the chilled oat milk, but this milk is perfect for times we don't have a refrigerator like camping or trips. We love it with our cereal or coffee. Great flavor and texture

Not good for coffee
This milk is way too thin and watery to be used in iced lattes / shaken espressos. I much prefer chobani extra creamy and silk oat. They add a dense, creamy flavor to my coffee

Expired
Target sent a long-expired carton, so I couldn't drink this. I love Oatly and it would have been great to have a shelf-stable option! I give 5 stars for Oatly and negative 2 stars for Target.

Please be careful I just bought this recently and looked at the date and it said expired in August 2023… it is March 2024. Not the brands fault but definitely Target’s.

The BEST non-dairy milk I've ever tried! Don't listen to the sheep..
I have been vegan for 10 years and I've tried every single non-dairy product on the market. Oatly is by far the superior creator of all things non-dairy! My dad drinks a pint of ice milk every single night and, though he's become mostly plant based now, he always said he could never give up his glass of milk. Well one glass of Oatly and he never tasted cow's milk again! It's now his favorite beverage of choice! I'm a university researcher specialized in the implications of modern food production... and one of the most frustrating things I've seen promoted by the influencer world is the idea that seed oils and nutrient fortifications are somehow bad for you. Unfortunately there is a lot of conflicting information out there, and everybody acts like they're an expert- spouting their opinions like gospel... well... are they opinions? Or are they regurgitated buzz words previously spouted by some unqualified attention seeker on the internet? The truth is, if you look hard enough, you'll find internet claims about every single food item in existence being bad for you. So look no further than your own mind. Do your own research if you please, but know this: Oatly's ingredients are simple and effective. The rapeseed oil is not going to kill you or give you cancer. But if you're really so concerned, then buy Oatly's oil-free oat milk or make your own at home. And fret not- the rest of that Oatly goodness will graciously be enjoyed by the rest of us! Thank you Oatly! :)

This is my favorite oat-milk
My son has a milk and soy allergy, so I need a substitute that our family could use for cooking, baking, and cereal (and my morning coffee). Oatly is by far my favorite. In terms of both taste and mouthfeel, the switch from cow milk was easy—-we don’t feel like we’re missing anything!Â

Alex, we're so happy that our oatmilk is your favorite. Thanks for supporting our plant-based mission by making the switch!

Best Oatmilk
This is almost always out of stock for shipping 24/7, not sure why lol. But aside from that misluck, it's pretty good, froths very well as you can expect. But my favorite thing about this specific one is the shelf stable packaging, very convenient for someone like me who likes to stock up on a bunch of oat milk so as to not run out so quickly. Oatly is one of the best oat milk brands imo, if only Target wasn't the only place in my area that sells it *sigh*...

The best oatmilk ever. I live where there are no alternative milk options, so ordering online on the target app was so easy and now I can have my oatmilk and cold brew again :-)))

New package design
Love what you’ve done - the cap is easier to open and the milk pours smoothly when the container is full, with no more uncontrollable spurting. Plus, the flavor is perfect, better than dairy milk, or any of the other alternative products out there.

I love oatly!
I switched to Oatly because it just makes my coffee taste better!! I have no issue with dairy milk but prefer the taste of oat milk and Oatly is my preferred brand. Love using it in my baking and cooking recipes. Please friends, ignore the reviewers demonizing some of the ingredients in here. What even are their credentials to make such statements? Everything in moderation. Avoid ingredients that you’re truly allergic to. We’re all going to die some dayÂ

Pretty good
This oat milk has a great taste to it. The best I've had and I've tried pretty much every brand out there. I only took off a star because I wish they made a version that's organic and has less sugar. I don't eat any sugar in my diet and this is really sweet for me.

10/10 we love it! We love how clean this milk alternative is without fillers and preservatives while still having full fat and calcium. It’s an excellent milk substitute for my daughter and me who are lactose sensitive. Please be back in stock soon we love you Oatly

Inconsistent consistency
Discovered Oatly with my first Starbucks iced oatmilk latte while on vacation a week ago and was hooked. I had to read the container to be sure and was thrilled that Oatly had no gluten or soy (I vote no on the pea protein, btw). Of 4 different Starbucks: 2 oatmilk lattes were super creamy, changing the color of the espresso, 1 was just ok tasting and the last (Orlando airport) wasn't creamy at all and didn't change the color of the espresso. Once home, I bought the barista shelf version. While much better than the airport, it was not nearly as creamy as what I fell in love with. I've read other recent reviews with the same sentiment. Wondering if something changed in the sourcing, recipe or manufacturing in recent months?

Hi Marni, we're so glad that you love our Barista Edition Oatmilk! We haven't changed our recipes, so we'd love to investigate what may have happened here. If you'd like to chat with our US support team about the carton you purchased, just send them an email at info.us@oatly.com. They will be happy to help you out.

When oats become cows
I never had a problem with cows milk, but after going oatly, I find myself unable to go back. As other believers have found, the full fat is definitely the way to go. However, it's so hard to tell the difference between the full fat and the low fat. At one point, early on, I mistakenly thought "original" meant the full fat version I had previously gotten, and ended up with the low fat. My spirits were dejectedly low that entire week. I never made that mistake again, but I feel sorrow for all those who might have tried the low fat and never experienced the full glory of the fatty oat.Â

Hi peanuts! We're so glad that you love our Full Fat Oatmilk! This oatmilk comes in a dark blue carton while our Low-Fat Oatmilk comes in a white carton. We have ardent supporters on both sides for both oatmilk varieties, so we're glad that you have found the one you strongly prefer.
