A: You have to cook it. Just a few minutes in a frying pan so it’s no longer red.

My first time making shaved steak as opposed to frozen minute steaks. I was nervous they’d be tough and chewy but they are very tender! I seasoned the raw meat with some black pepper, onion, and garlic seasoning and put it on a toasted Italian steak roll with melted Muenster cheese and sautéed onions and peppers. So good! One star deduction for the fatty globs I had to cut out. Otherwise, it’s perfect!
