Organic Skim Milk - 0.5gal - Good & Gather™

This is usually my go to milk. But lately it has been hit or miss. I have returned 2 half gallons on 2 separate occasions of the 2% because it tasted funny. The expiration date was a month out. The next couple were fine and the last one was fine at first but I finally had to just get rid of it as started to taste funny again. And again the expiration date was about 3 weeks out. I don’t know if you have changed something or you’re just getting a lot of bad batches but I won’t recommend or buy again.

This was purchased on 7/17 and was opened on 7/18 and expires on 7/19. Since I expected the milk to last longer than 2 days I am very disappointed. I would like to be sopped for like I would with the longest use by date that I can find. Since I’m the only one drinking this I had expected it to last longer than this.

I had to get a refund because the carton of milk had gone sour several weeks prior to its expiration date.

Received milk with expiration date of 7/7/26. Today is 7/16/26!!!!! Not the first that we encountered refrigerated items with lapsed expiration date. Neither management nor employees seem to do a proper job. For 3.99 one can get Salmonella. Target do a better job !!!!

Dear Target Guest Relations, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent Target Drive Up order. When my family used the milk we received, I later realized the carton was labeled with a **"Best if Used By" date of June 17**, despite it being included in my pickup order on July 7. As a parent of two young children (ages 2 and 4), it was incredibly upsetting to discover that they had already consumed the milk before I noticed the date. While I understand that a "Best if Used By" date is primarily related to quality, customers should be able to trust that perishable items selected for pickup have been checked for freshness. Receiving a dairy product that was several weeks past its labeled date is unacceptable and raises concerns about inventory management and quality control. I have already spoken with the local store, but I wanted to bring this to your attention because I believe this issue extends beyond a single refund. I hope steps will be taken to review inventory procedures and ensure expired or outdated perishable items are not being fulfilled for pickup orders or left available for other customers. I have been a loyal Target customer for many years and have always appreciated the convenience and reliability of your Drive Up service. I hope this concern will be taken seriously so that other families do not experience the same situation.

Great taste, great price.

We opened two seperate containers and had to pour them directly into the trash. They smelled spoiled and were just disgusting. We buy this milk all the time, but this was the last time. We were 3 weeks out from the expiration date, but they were inedible.

This is the first time we've had an issue with this milk, but we just poured it out because there was a thick slimy substance inside - not like spoiled milk, actually slimy stringy gross-ness. It still had 12 days until expiration, and before we found the slime, it tasted normal. But that is disgusting and I have no clue what it was!

Used to buy this milk ALL THE TIME and had no issues until recently. I thought maybe it was just one carton that went bad, but both cartons said expiration date is June 30 (opened mid May), and one smelled sour upon opening and then the next one, there were clumps inside! Not sure what’s going on

It's a bit more than some brands. Not overly pricey. However, you get what you pay for. This brand is hearty and healthy.

Spoiled fast

Milk was sour as soon as it was opened. Expiration date wasn’t until June 30th.

It was sour!! The expiration date was July 1 it’s curdled!!!!

We have used and liked this milk in the past, but in the latest order of 4 cartons (all well within their best by date) all 4 were spoiled and chunky.
