Dog food scattered across the kitchen floor after every meal. I was interested in trying it because our old setup had zero containment, so water splashes and stray food ended up everywhere, especially with a food lover like her. My favorite part is that the mat actually grips her bowls in place, so she's not chasing them around the kitchen trying to get the last bits out. The raised edges also keep the mess contained, and the nonslip feet mean the whole mat stays put too, even when she gets excited.

I've never tried a feeding mat like this before, but I like how it has a cute subtle pattern and makes my dog look like she's eating off a fancy plate mat. I think that the size of the mat is a bit large so it would take up a lot of space in the dish tray, but I like how it is at least flat so it would be easy to store away on a shelf or next to my dog's crate. I think that this would be great for dogs who are gentle eaters or who constantly have both their water and food bowls out and available to them.

I love that it has raised edges to catch those pieces of kibble and water splashes instead of ending up all over my wood floor. The nonslip feet also keep the mat in place, not moving it at all! Whether they run up to it or both using it, it stays in place. It's NOT flimsy, which I love. And honestly, the best part is how easy it is to clean. I can just wipe it down after meals, or put it in the dishwasher when it needs a deeper clean. It’s such a simple addition, but it makes their everyday feeding routine so much less messy and a lot easier to keep clean. This fits our big dog bowls (8 cups) and our smaller ones (4 cups).
