Not stainless steel

It has a coating that scratches off. The handle is the ONLY part of the tool that’s made with stainless steel, while the rest is aluminum. Overpriced. Deceptive marketing tactic where it says Stainless Steel in the front packaging, but hidden on the back was when it mentioned the handle is the only stainless steel part of the tool.

DW friendly

I am very happy with the Oxo meat tenderizer, works well. Especially like that it can be cleaned in the DW.
