Was ok until we found the gloopy chunks in the bottom that others also have. Disgusting, I was hopeful this would be a good option but with chunks in it… it’s not.

Please be aware I gave this to my child and it was chunky inside. The bottle expires in December 2026. Some were good but this one is not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved the taste and thickness of this PediaSure protein shake. I originally got it for my 7 year old, but then purchased more because I liked it myself. The consistency is smooth, and doesn’t have any sort of graininess or after taste. I like it better served cold but my little guy doesn’t have a temperature preference. This is a great way to squeeze in extra protein for picky eaters and busy moms!

Weird aftertaste.
My son regularly drank the sidekicks and loved them. He does not like these- says they have a weird aftertaste- I realized the sugar substitute in it was the cause. He refuses to drink them anymore- his cousin who drinks anything, and I mean anything, refuses to drink these as well. I had high hopes due to his need for additional protein every day, but it did not come through on the flavor. So now we look for alternatives.

Clumpy
I normally get the high protein but the store didn’t have to so I grabbed this one..never again as much as u shake it ,it’s clumpy I looked inside and it was stuck to the bottle .trash!!!!

Issues with flavor and texture

She felt this drink had a lumpy texture and was overly sweet. I also tried a sip and it definitely had that “fake” sugar flavor. It’s a great alternative for kids who need help with extra nutrition, but the texture could be a problem.

The taste is a bit too artificial compared to the Pediasure Sidekick. We also noticed that after sitting for a few hours in the fridge, it starts to separate and develop small clumps, even though it's still within the safe time to drink and not spoiled.
