Overpowering 'fishy taste.
I was initially excited to try these cakes as the flakes of crab were visible. it's rare to see actual meat in most frozen seafood cakes. Unfortunately it had an incredibly strong 'fishy' taste and inedible for my palette. Highly disappointed.

No Lump Crab Meat
I was disappointed because there were no "lumps" in my crab cakes. They were both kind of mealy. This is the first time a purchase frozen crab cakes. I'll try another brand next time just for comparison. Also, the cooking instructions didn't say to add salt. It needed a tad. I might just be spoiled from restaurant crab cakes.

This is a small box with small portions. The crab cakes are made with the scraps of crab meat, they smell very fishy and did not taste good at all. The value for your money here is zero. If these were $3.50, I still would not buy it again.

The King (crab) of crab cakes
I got into crab cakes about 3 months ago. I’ve tried various brands and even learned to make my own, Maryland style. Philips hands down is the one to beat. If you follow the instructions just as listed they come out perfect crispy, hot, and delicious. My goodness I didn’t think I could crave frozen food, but these crab cakes are out of this world!
