Pokémon Visual Companion Fifth Edition - by DK (Paperback)

Excellent choice, visually and textually informative, good value for any Pokemon fan. Thick book that covers Pokemon (as the show), from all the regions through the 2024. It is organized by region and there is a good mix of photos and explanations/info. I got this for my kids' birthday as they are huge Pokemon fans, but if you're an old skool parent like me and remember the first 2 generations of Pokemon, this will be a great trip down memory lane and you'll be introduced to the newer gen Pokemon, trainers, and other cool things. DK (the publisher), does a great job of making kid-friendly visual guides (including history and science) and this visual companion is no exception. PROBLEM: If you are ordering this from Target to ship, they tend to ship books, including this book which is paperback, in a flimsy paper envelop. Therefore, my book arrived damaged (crumpled at the edges). I notifed Target and they took care of me, so hopefully this shippping issue is resolved by the time you consider purchasing.
