I think this will be good for traveling as it fits in my backpack well. On the inside, there are handy pockets for holding games. The inside is contoured for the shape of the Switch 2. A potential consideration is that there is no handle on the case. However, that doesn't bother me because I would typically transport my switch inside a backpack.
