Seems good for protection, but it stinks.
Seems like it will protect the console well, and does everything it says in yhe decription above. But.... It smells so, so bad. Strong chemical smell from the moment its opened, likely some sort of gas-off from plastics which seems worrying. Haven't been able to get rid of the smell even after having it opened and airing out for about a week.

Smells terrible
This item reeks of cigarette smoke. I’m honestly shocked that Target would put this back on the shelf after it was returned in this condition. We had one of our controllers in the case for about five minutes, and now it smells like smoke too. Very disappointed.

I ordered this item as a gift. I ordered this with a week grace period for the delivery so that I could be sure I would have the item for the event. The item was to be delivered five days after ordering. This is totally acceptable. It is now day 10 still no item and the supposed delivery date is tomorrow, which I highly doubt. This is the day I need it. Tracking shows it hasn’t moved all day and is in a different state. Very frustrating Target!! This is poor customer service.

Most suitable case
The protective case is of high quality, durable, and compact in size. It allows you to carry either the docking station or a controller. Additionally, there is a pouch for cables or the AC adapter. The Switch 2 itself fits in perfectly. The divider for accessories can be adjusted to your preference, and the elastic strap is secured with Velcro for easy adjustment. All in all, it's a well-designed, compact protective case.

It is the "deep," version room for plug controller/dock
Thus is the “deep,” case so the switch is strapped up into the upper portion then the deeper bottom has a pouch that can hold stuff and space for either the dock I believe I put a controller it fit I actually haven’t used the switch 2 dock yet but I’m pretty sure it would fit but it is either or u can have the controller and dock just 1 or the other but it’s great for the cost plus extremely fast shipping from target

Good case for the price!
Holding the docking station is useful for me and has a nice mesh pocket to hold my cables and or my chargnig block which is awsome! You can also use the case as a kick stand! If you dont need to carry the dock with you it can hold your pro controller as well as more joy cons.
