A: The finish will vary by pattern fabric. The florals and all over patterns are not as sateen like finish.

A: I just got these sheets in what they said is "purple" but it is not purple, it is shades of blue into maybe deep purple but looks navy, with white and beige colors also. Love the feel, I have a queen adjustable bed with an 11" mattress so was worried the fitted sheet would be too big. The fitted sheet has elastic all the way around it so it fits nicely, altho I wish it were just a bit tighter. Perhaps when I wash it and dry it, hopefully it will shrink a little.

Q: Are these sheets benzoyl peroxide resistant? My son's acne medication has ruined two other sheet sets and I've read there are sheets that the medication won't ruin.

submitted bysassy - 8 years agoA: Just white pillowcases for sleeping. I had bad acne and all sheets and towels were ruined during that time. I've never found any that would resist bleaching of benzoyl peroxide.
submitted byk10 - 5 years agoA: Benzoyl peroxide will bleach anything it comes into contact with. I recommend buying some cheap white towels and having your son sleep with the white towel laid on top of his pillowcase, or buying white pillowcases that can be bleached.

A: I just bought these sheets and a king size. I also like cotton sheets. These sheets were absolutely awful. They are thin and I haven’t even washed them yet and they already have little balls on the material absolutely not worth the money. If you want good cotton sheets, only buy Opal house.

Over the years I have bought and tried cheap sheets and very expensive sheets and have found the Performance Sheets at Target to be the best I have ever owned. Some of the prints are not quite as soft as the solids but still are fine against my skin - and I don't have sensitive skin. They are soft, don't wrinkle too much, don't pill (a major plus as I just don't tolerate pilling against my skin), and these sheets don't make me hot in the summer heat. However if you like the crisp cotton feel of your sheets I don't think these will be for you, as these sheets may be too soft. You can always try one set to see if this works for you. Not sure if they come in white. Hope this helps.

Cute but hot and scratchy!
I love how these sheets look, but they’re very scratchy and hot. If you’re buying them for winter you’ll probably be fine with how heavy/hot they are. I’m REALLY hoping they’ll soften more if I wash them a few more times but as of now they’re very scratchy after being washed once.

Stinky!
We had another set of this same style before this. The only way I can rationalize the price to my husband is that the other ones we had lasted is two years. However, this new set STINKS. It smells like burning plastic. We took it out and immediately it hit us. He even asked me if they were used. I washed them and put them out on the bed which obviously means they're unreturnable in my opinion but I wish I could just go back to the last set.

Incredibly pleased with these sheets! They passed my expectations. I recently bought the gray plaid set wondering how they would do on my thick mattress. The description says they fit mattresses up to 18 inches, and that is true. My mattress is about 18 inches (possibly slightly deeper 18.5), and the sheets remain snug and secure. They are well made boasting two sets of elastics allowing for extra grip on larger matresses. These sheets hug the mattress well with no needless bunching; plus they stay secure. Additionally, I love the light gray plaid. The contrast with our dark gray headboard is perfect. My husband really likes them as well. In 20 years of marriage, this is the first time he has commented on sheets because I really likes them. Lastly, they breathe well and the cotton is soft.
