My wife and I struggled to find a ramp that was long enough, wide enough, and strong enough to handle our aging 180lb Great Dane. We ordered this ramp last December and use it nearly everyday. It obviously took our dog a couple of tries to not be nervous, but now it works seamlessly. He has no issues getting up and down from my truck's rear floor. The durability of the ramp has also impressed me. I throw (literally) it in the bed of my truck when the dog is riding with me, and it is still working great. Highly recommend for other Great Dane owners.

This ramp worked great for my dog, with a little help from me. It extends out easily, stays in place nicely, and I like the rough surface which helps the dog get better traction. My dog, however, is a large older dog. The incline was a bit much for him, so I had to put a cement block beneath the bottom to lessen the incline. That did the trick and allowed him get all the way up. I would imagine all younger dogs will have no problem using this product. Just wanted to give a heads up to owners of older dogs.

I'm so upset, my dog has hip dysplasia and I really wanted a good ramp..I got it yesterday and had him use it today. This is what it looks like after 1 use.. what happens after 20 uses, will there be any grip/grit left????

This ramp is perfect for my 135 lb cane corso to get into my lifted truck. It’s stable, sits firmly on the floor of the cab and doesn’t sag or bounce when Rocco walks up and down it- if it did, he definitely would not use it! I toss it in the bed of the truck and it’s ready to go whenever we are. It is exactly what we were looking for as my dog is aging and starting to develop arthritis in his front legs. We couldn’t be happier.

My wife brought this home years ago, and I was skeptical at first. However, it has been a godsend getting our Lab in and out of our auto. The Lab injured his hip shortly after our daughter "bestowed" him on us. Without the ramp I would have to lift a 120 lb., squirming hound into the back hatchback. The ramp is very well designed and constructed and super easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone. It is not an expense, but rather an investment in your dog's health and well being.

As a Bird dog trainer I feel the extra length of this ramp helps young and older dogs into the back of the pick up into crates much easier than jumping off and jumping on. Solid built and would recommend 4 Stars not 5 because telescoping is a bit sticky after a month of use.

I bought this 3 years ago. The ramp has worked great for our 100 lb Lab. The surface was too rough for his puppy paws so I put an old yoga mat on it and it solved it. I just ordered another one because we need another. We’ll see if he wants a new yoga mat or his grown up paws will be ok. I ordered this one to have two. This is a great ramp, sturdy, well made, safe and easy to operate, fairly light and very easy to store.

is ramp this quite longer than our other ramp we purchased they solvit which was bought by this current company. it is also quite a bit more heavy. I am 62 and am still able to muscle the ramp into out of our Chrysler Pacifica. We have a boxer that is somewhat disabled and the 20inch width is what he needs to feel comfortable in going up and down. I believe that the company would profit greatly if they took the shorter ramp and extended the width 20 inches. The ramp also takes up a significant amount of space.

this is our second ramp---the first one was ran over with our Gator ( live in the country ) but still withstood this insult and was easily repaired but i had already ordered a new one and decided to kept them both because i love this ramp --makes it so easy for my boy ( Big Rotti ) to get in and out of our truck , car ,gator with ease thus saving his joints ( not jumping ) --i have had other ramps before which were not as sturdy for big dogs --thank you for this wonderful ramp

My older dog goes everywhere with me and based on his age and large size he was having trouble with hind legs. This ramp was a life saver and definitely will extend his health and his life.

I have an older Lab mix that is having problems getting in and out of my vehicle until we got this. I love that it can fold up after each use it is compact so it doesn't take up much room . I absolutely love the rough textured topping which helps her not to slide . The side bars are added bonus because they help guide all the way up the ramp.

She's heavy, and lifting her in and out of the back takes a toll on both me and her. This ramp is the perfect solution. Extends when needed and collapses gor easy storage. Great construction, and the ramp has plenty of grip so that my old girl has no issues walking up and down it. Absolutely recommend for older or smaller dogs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 dogs, Dachshunds, and both are seniors. One is 12, one is 10 years young. The 12 year old has been having some trouble getting up and down the stairs that are right outside of our front door. We wanted a ramp for the car to make loading them into the back easier, but also wanted something to place on the front porch to make getting out of the house easier. This ramp is perfect for both. It's very long, even before you extend it fully it's pretty long. Once it is fully extended it goes from the front door to the grass, eliminating the need for her to have to navigate any steps at all. Getting them to use it was no trouble at all, as we already have ramps inside the house for the bed and furniture. It has a no-slip surface so no worries about them losing their grip while on it. The length of it makes it less of a steep incline when getting in and out of the car. It's very sturdy as well, it supports up to 300 pounds. We stepped on it ourselves and there is a little bounce to it but it held our weight. I know my dogs are small, nowhere near 300 pounds, feel very confident that this ramp would have no trouble supporting a much larger, heavier dog. It's very easy to fully extend and retract, and we love how portable it is. This is a very nice ramp, we'd recommend it to anyone.
