missing parts
My bigest complaint is that is came with NO MOUNTING BRACKETS. It showed them on the website, but not included. Also the one end of the box looked like it might have been opened and resealed.

Works great if you install correctly
Price, thickness, easy to install. I’ve installed many of these over the years and I’ve made some mistakes. If you want TOTAL coverage, use the outside mount brackets. If you want it like the photos I’ve shown, use inside mount. I wish I had done outside mount, but they would have touched the curtains I have already. They are making a big difference in my southeast facing bedroomwindows. For the price I was surprised at the thickness. They are really thick. Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly.

Not as Labeled
The shade is well made and was super easy to trim to fit my window. . However, it is advertised as a room darkening shade, which it is not. It's between a light filtering and a room darkening shade. I say this because this replaced a badly torn room darkening shade and the difference in light filtering was immediately evident. . Now I'm wondering if their blackout shade is what would be termed a room darkening shade? Once trimmed and hung, needless to say, the shade cannot be returned because it's not truly what it is advertised to be.

Disappointed Debbie
Missing brackets and instructions. No way to contact somebody regarding this other than returning the item. I just need the parts. The shade itself looks like ok quality but can’t tell you if it works because I can’t hang it without the BRACKETS!

Returning
This was delivered by FedEx without the mounting hardware (which it said was included). The box was too short, so the roller shade stuck out and had packing tape covering the last 6 inches that didn’t fit inside the box. There is also red ink on the end which, since it was rolled when the ink touched it, repeats itself every few inches when the shade is unrolled. Definitely returning.

An Old Fashioned Solution
I needed more light blocking in a guest room for when I have guests. I have blinds in the window, but the neighbor has a porch light that shines pretty brightly, so I bought this shade to hang behind the blind and to use whenever someone stays in that room to give better light control. It works great! Over the last forty years, I've used a few adjustable shades like this and this one is pretty decent quality. This type of shade is a pretty utilitarian way to provide privacy, but the quality is the same as I've had before. Prices have gone up on everything and this shade is no different. The price I paid at Target is way better than I could find elsewhere for this size. I got the wider one for my 46.5 inch wide window and easily removed the excess width by following the directions in the package and watching the video for a refresher. It had been a while since I cut down an adjustable shade, so the video was helpful. I think this shade will be pretty durable for what I am using it for.

Decenr value but not quality
These are ok for the price it’s a decent value. Once they’re rolled you cannot adjust the height, you have to take them out of the bracket and roll it. I would not consider these “blackout” at all but more light darkening. Easy to install, cut, etc just not functional if you’re wanting to roll them up or down on a daily basis.

Easy to install!
These shades do a good job of darkening the room. They eliminate glare on my tv much better than my old ones. Installation is really easy. I was luckily able to use the old universal hardware, so it was as simple as ripping away a section and swapping them out. They are a little thinner than I’m used to, but for $13.00 each I have no complaints. They look white when it’s dark outside, but when the sun hits them they look more beige. I would recommend these to anyone, just follow the instructions and make sure to measure accurately.

Gets the Job Done
If you're trying to find a roller blind that won't break the bank these work fine. The directions for measuring/cutting aren't quite accurate (I had to cut twice) but still works. They aren't completely black out, but I think would work with a light curtain over it. Worth what I paid.

It's just ok.
Once you put it in the window, it doesn’t look white… more of a beige. Not pleasing to the eye when everything else is stark white. (I have another room darkening shade in the same room and it looks white.)
