A: PUR Gum doesn’t have the ADA seal right now because the brand has not pursued the ADA certification yet. That said, PUR Gum is always aspartame free, sugar free, and sweetened with 100% xylitol.

Q: The “gum base” the ingredients list indicates that you use a plastic derivative for the chewy texture, this has been proven to expose consumers to considerable amounts of micro plastics. Will you use a natural chicle base?

I love the whole concept of these. Definitely a better alternative than majority of gum products being sold. They don’t taste too bad too bad, however they don’t last very long. The minty taste goes away after a minute or so and then you’re left with tasteless gum. So I guess if you’re one of those who just likes getting the job done then these are for you. But if you like the lingering mint flavor in your mouth afterwards then I would skip these. I also like the packaging and how small and convenient they are. Price is a bit high for what you get, but worth it in my opinion if you are conscious of what you consume.

Hear me out
I switched over to this gum from Mentos Spearmint gum and while there are differences, I prefer this one. Mentos has a strong flavor initially that lasts longer than the PUR but once the flavor is gone, it’s GONE. With this gum I noticed that there isn’t such a bold flavor like Mentos to start out with but there is a “spearmint residue” that remains even after the initial bold flavor is gone, if that makes sense? I heard about the importance of xylitol gum from Dr. Ellie Phillips whose advice has transformed my teeth in such a short period of time so I will be continuing to purchase this gum as long as I am able to.
