Sounds like a waterproof mattress pad we all put on our kid’s beds. And the surface of it is cold to the touch. I am so disappointed with the quality from Lands End. Do not buy this comforter.

This comforter has very soft cotton fabric and is light enough for Texas, most comforters are too hot in the summer here in Texas. The king size is perfect for my queen bed (I like larger blankets). I pair this with a thin white cotton blanket, and white sheets so the pattern isn't over whelming.

I’ve had this comforter for about a month and I absolutely love it! The quality is very good, made well and is oversized which was what made me very happy. Love the crispness but soft to the touch. Lovely.

Purchased this and I love it. Can't wait to get sheets to go with it. It's very soft, just the perfect weight - not too heavy but so lightweight it's useless. I love the print/colors. Gave my room exactly the lift I wanted.

The stuffing in the quilts tends to get into lumps in each section. I washed this in my super large, front loading machine and then dried it using wool dryer balls to break up the lumps. But still, as I use it on my bed the filling attracts itself and works itself into lumps. I like the material it is made of and it is generously sized.

I just purchased it and washed before using it. I have a large capacity washer and dryer which has a bedding cycle. The comforter fit in the machines, and was washed and dried on medium/low cycle. Then I hung it on a rack and even ironed it. I didn’t expect it to be as wrinkled.
Nice & warm, but lightweight too.

I bought this in early November, and it's beyond the ,return date unfortunately. The batting inside fell flat and it's only as much as a pretty sham. Poor Quality

I love the color, very neutral. The quilt is light weight but warm. It was very wrinkled from being folded. I ironed it but still cannot get the wrinkles out. It is generously sized. You can turn it one way for full size and turn it 90’ and it is queen size.
