I'm very pleased with this Pyle Adjustable Height Mic Stand! The round, weighted metal foot, which looks a bit like a weight you'd slide onto a bar at the gym, is nice and heavy so it won't get tipped over. I love the small footprint of this stand, which is so much smaller than tripod stands, and so much less of a trip hazard. I already have too much floorspace consumed by other equipment around my instruments, so this small footprint is very much appreciated. The stand expands quite high and screws very securely in place using an ergonomic-to-twist plastic clutch. The spring-loaded plastic mic clamp screws on top of the stand. It isn't extremely large or remarkably heavy weight, but it does the trick to hold my microphone in place, whether pointing upside down, rightside up or sideways. I'm super happy this stand! Yay!

This mic stand is awesome, rock solid and super easy to adjust, exactly what I needed for my home studio, zero complaints, totally worth it!

I have been using a desktop mic stand and really needed one that stood on the floor, this is great. The base has good weight and the height adjustment will fit just about anyone.

Assembly is very easy and basic. The bottom plate is nice a heavy, making tipping over much less of a concern than with tripod mic stands. Height adjustment is nice and easy. I tried using the included mic clip with my SM-58 but it does not hold it well since it has a tapered body. If you have a mic with a non tapered body it may be fine. A great add to the home studio.

This stand does the job, but it has some short-comings. I'm a big fan of mic stands that, like this one, have a weighted base rather than the folding tripod legs that get in the way of the pedal board of my guitar rig and are also a tripping hazard. The height is easily adjustable, but two hands are required to do the job because the release is part of the bottom part of the stand. Better stands have a squeeze mechanism on the upper portion so that they can be released and adjusted with one hand. The universal clip to hold the mic that came with the stand is not particularly strong. I tried it with several pro-quality dynamic mics which have a tapered barrel and in all cases the mic was a bit wobbly. I will be switching it out for a different kind of mic clip. The weighted base does a good job of keeping the stand from falling over when bumped. I was able to tip the stand up to about 12 degrees off vertical with a Shure SM58 mic in the clip and the stand always returned to vertical.

This extra tall mic stand is exactly what my daughter wanted for her closet turned makeshift music recording studio. She loves rockin' out and belting musical theater vocals. Prior to getting this mic stand, she had to prop a desktop mic stand onto shelves and books in order to sing standing up. Now she can sing and dance at the same time with this Pyle floor length adjustable mic stand. It's a decent quality mic stand, easy to manipulate and angle just right with a good height range for a great price. A simple investment for supporting and encouraging priceless talent.

Mic stand’s alright but kinda flimsy, had to tighten stuff a lot.

The Pyle Adjustable Height Microphone Stand seems to fit the bill but that bill is slightly high for what you get. I like the look and feel of it but it has a slight wobble at the base. It's not much of a wobble but just enough to know it's there. Describing this as lightweight is a slight misnomer. While you do want it to be lightweight, you don't want it too light. You want it secure enough to hold an expensive microphone without fear of it toppling over. To that effect, I would say that the base is weighted enough that it's not going to easily fall over. The base is a solid metal with a weighty feel to it. The base is a matte black, should easily blend in without reflecting light. I wouldn't say the feet on this are rubber but more inline of a plastic gripping material. Not sure if it's steel or cast aluminum for the base. It has threads directly drilled into the base for the metal post going up. While it does go in tightly, it is not something I'd want to take apart on a daily basis as those threads do look and feel like they'd be very easy to cross. The pole is adjustable with a plastic twist lock. I found the adjustable height is going to be adequate for most people for standing use. It is not suitable for use at a desk as it's too tall even in its lowest position. As far as the locking mechanism, I did find it a little difficult to unlock it. It comes with a few basic plastic accessories. These will do but you will probably want to use your own rather than what comes with it.

I recently got this microphone stand and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. Got this mic stand expecting solid support but it wobbles way too much. Not great.

I'm fairly satisfied with this Pyle Microphone Stand, especially for the price. The base is well weighted and the tubing is quite good. The base tubing is 0. 8 inch in diameter and the upper tube is 0. 6 inch in diameter. The height is easy to adjust as well. Quick note, there are only two tubes, which is good, some cheaper stands come in a tiny box in 4 pieces. Then you have to screw the tubes together, which significantly limits the adjustable range. This stand does not have that problem. A few notes. . . Screwing onto the base was a little tricky, I found it was much easier to hold the threads up, then screw the base onto the tube, rather than trying to screw the tube into the base. Additionally, once threaded in the tube does not seem entirely perpendicular to the ground (i. e. straight up). It's not off by much, but it is off. This won't be a big deal for most, and is hardly noticeable, but it may bug some.

This is a really pretty solid Mic stand. It's got a good height adjustment for those are a bit taller. It tightens down really good so there's nothiing loose, and the round metal base is a lot nicer than any of the three-legged stands that I've used in the past this keeps it well balanced and keeps it from tipping over it is pretty solid and heavy so I trust that the microphone is not going to tip over if I accidentally hit it and that's a good thing. This mic stand is very easy to put together you just screw everything till it tightens down and the clips make it functional with just about any kind of dynamic or Pro mic out there and it's does a good job keeping it in place again you just slip it in where the clip is and it holds it in you just want to tighten it down onto the stand itself. Like I said its a pretty solid Mic stand that had good height adjustment and a nice round solid base to keep it from tipping over and I think it's a pretty good value. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an extra microphone stand or just need a new Mic stand. This would be a good solid one.
