    If you like lemon and protein bars that don’t taste like cardboard or a weird glob of poo, these are for you. I can’t stand most all protein powders/bars but Quest always pulls through for me. These are like having a lemon loaf. This one and the blueberry ones are my absolute favorite.

    Sweet lemony goodness

    I wondered when ordering the Lemon Cake flavor if they’d be too sweet even for my sweet tooth but happily, they’re prefect for me. Love them in the morning with vanilla yogurt and fresh raspberries. So happy I took a chance and gave them a try. They’ll be a regular part of my Quest breakfast/snack rotation.

    Good taste

    These are great- I developed a sensitivity to chocolate so these are a good option. Also particularly low in Weight Watchers points! 3 at the time of this writing. They're also dense and satisfying like all Quest bars, and they're more sweet than sour.

    Like iced lemon shortbread

    I really enjoy the “fruity pastry” flavors a lot and this is no exception. Flavor is great and I think the typical Quest bar texture works well for it. I could see how some might expect something more cake-like and not enjoy it, though. I think its closest to ice lemon shortbread and find it delightful!

    Lemon Cake is AMAZINGGGGG

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMGGGGG Lemon Cake is my new favorite flavor of Quest bars! I also love blueberry muffin bars, white chocolate raspberry, and apple pie bars. My local stores don't carry those flavors, tho, so in a pinch, I get the oatmeal chocolate chip bars, even tho they have a bit of an aftertaste. Imo, the peanut butter and fudgy flavors are pretty nasty. I'll stick to the fruit-based flavors for best flavor payoff!

    Awful Alcohol Aftertaste

    The aftertaste on these is like the cheapest lemon vodka you drank in college because that’s all that was available. I’ve enjoyed the other Quest bars I’ve purchased (cookie dough, apple pie, birthday cake), but the lemon flavor was such a miss I took it back.
