    Not for taste wise but definitely nutritional

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taste wise, it's not the best. It seemed a little gritty. And when considering it's called cookie commotion, I thought it would be crunchier, but it's extremely soft. It doesn't even taste like any cookie I would recognize. I think nutrition wise it's great with 20 g of protein and 1 g of sugar. It does smell like chocolate which is nice. And it does seem small enough or portable enough like a granola bar that you could just drop it in your purse or in your pocket to be available once you're done working out. It also seemed to keep me full a little longer.

    Great Taste and Amazing Macros

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to eat this that I forgot to take a picture before devouring it 😂 The macros on Quest protein bars are superb and this new Overload Cookie Commotion flavor was no exception. Great for people who want a filling snack that’s low in calories, folks who workout and need a high-protein food item post-workout, and those who follow high protein low carb diets such as Keto. I’ve tried a lot of Quest protein bar flavors to this point, and happy to say this tastes just as good, if not better, than all the others! I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this in stores.

    Poor Shipping Approach - Melted Mess

    Heat during shipping made these arrive completely melted within the wrapper. Eating one is a complete mess. Target needs to handle these as perishables like any other retailer would.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey, as a regular Quest customer, I have to tell you about my daily salvation: that of Cookie Protein Bar. Analyzing the formulation, for me it is a 10 out of 10 because it gives you all the protein you need without getting a spike of sugar. The packaging is super resistant, literally survives the bottom of my gym backpack without crushing. My favorite moment of intake is leaving training; it is super practical and satiates you instantly. But what really blows my head is the mouthfeel: zero texture of chalk or gum, it feels dense, soft and the cookie stumbles are real. In addition, if you have strict dietary goals, this bar fits cleanly in your macros. If you are looking for something of quality, go for this one."

    Great sweet treat

Of course not the same, it’s still a nice protein filled sweet treat. Not a super crunchy texture like Twix but a few cookie bits are picked out here and there. I don’t closely monitor my protein count but it’s great that it’s 20g in a small bar. I enjoy it to fuel after a workout.

I did throw it in the freezer and ended up trying it, but that definitely affected my rating. The overall taste of the bar wasn’t bad it was definitely one of the better tasting protein bars I’ve had. I’m gluten free so I appreciated the fact that it’s gluten free. I also enjoyed the flavor of it but my experience was unfortunately affected by the fact that it was melted.
