Q: My daughter received this as a gift for Christmas. Unfortunately, after the light was unpackaged it doesn't seem to work properly. Instead of a constant source of light, it is flashing. Since the lamp is already opened is there any chance of exchanging?

A: Yes it does. Along the cord there is a simple on/off switch with mounting sticker on backside, if needed, already attached.

As others have said, it's very very bright. It's so cute I decided to try it out anyway for my daughter's room, but it's way too bright to work as a bedside lamp above her bunk bed. I'll have to return it. It would be 100% perfect of it were dimmable!

This light is SO cute and I would give it 5/5 stars but when I plugged it in the colors were completely different than what is shown on the box. On the box it’s very light in colors with the rainbow light looking like it’s intended for a girls room based on the color scheme. When I plugged it in the light was a totally different color scheme it’s red instead of pink and definitely more darker shades instead of the pastels on the box. The light is very adorable I do find the bend in the middle light a little strange since the rest of the lines are almost perfectly straight. I included a picture of the box so you can see what they are advertising for and then you can see the actual light. Overall it’s a really cute light if you are aware the colors are very different on the box vs in person then I would get the light!

If You're Buying In The Store... The Picture On The Box Is Very Misleading. The Box Shows Pastel Colors (Pink, Light Blue, Etc) The Colors Are In Fact Bright Red, Bright Blue, Etc. If Youre Okay With Those Shades Of Colors This Is A Good Lamp For You. If You Were Hoping For Lighter Colors( Like On The Box) This Is Not It.
