Q: What is the "natural flavor"?

submitted by Doris Dee - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Doris! Natural flavor is any flavor component that comes from a spice, fruit, vegetable, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf, or similar plant material, meat, poultry, or other natural product. Natural flavors function as flavoring and do not impact nutritional value. Natural flavors are found in many foods sold today.

Q: Is this product actually yogurt? The label says "dairy snack" and no mention of probiotics.

submitted by Pleasant Nell - 3 months ago
  • A: While :ratio PROTEIN dairy snack is cultured like yogurt, the recipe doesn’t meet the FDA’s definition of “yogurt.” We use yogurt cultures (L. Bulgaricus and S. Thermophilus) in the same way that yogurt is made.

Why did it become so gross recently?

Too thick now. It used to be creamy, easy to get down, and appealing. Now its thick and disgusting, almost has to be chewed its like cement paste but way thicker somehow. Just make it thin and liquidy again. ignore all the almond moms who are complaining about the ingredients, they know nothing about health other than what their facebook group claims is bad. Seriously tho you guys had it perfect, then you had to go along and make it inedibly thick >:(

Creamy texture, but the flavor (strawberry) is very artificial and leaves a funny after taste

I’ve had this yogurt in the past and it’s always been so good. I bought it yesterday to eat this morning and it spilled everywhere because it was straight liquid. Not sure what happened.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good yogurt. Love the peach flavor as it is my favorite with all yogurts. The texture isn't my favorite, but it isn't bad. I would recommend this yogurt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually can very much taste when things have extra “protein” in them, but this was a great option! I loved the yogurt and it was worth it 100%. I think if you’re looking for another high protein option that has fruit flavors this is a good choice

Sucralose ruins the product, please use allulose

These taste great but I just saw they have sucralose now (I thought they used to use a different sweetener?) and they are going in the trash. Sucralose is poison, look it up. Also, as a non-diabetic married to a diabetic, I decided to wear a CGM (glucose monitor) to see how my body reacted to foods compared to a diabetic and sucralose spiked both of our blood sugar high. PLEASE SWITCH TO ALLULOSE, monk fruit or Stevia!

Highest protein in a small amount of food that's not meat you will practically find for the price. If your used to protein shakes this is a step up. I eat 2 or even 3 some days. It's affordable and a 8 out of 10 taste wise and even better in you have your own blueberries or something to put in it.

I would eat this yogurt every day if it wasn't so sweet. The sucralose is gross. I thought at first that it was the sting of stevia, but it's just too much. If they used about one third of the sweetener or used a natural alternative, that would elevate this product in every flavor. Or if that many people love it as-is, can you make an unsweetened one, please? The protein for the volume and yogurt texture is great. For now I am mixing this in with 1 part Ratio and 2 parts plain yogurt (any that are unsweetened, for real) and it's great. I don't love that I have to accommodate the original so much to enjoy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the strawberry ratio, protein, drink, and the taste reminiscent of a good strawberry milk. The texture was nice and smooth and the packaging was easy to get into. The fact that it has 26 g of protein and nine carbs was OK but I would love to see this drink with less carbohydrates. In my opinion, I would highly recommend..
