Q: This states 35% calcium. That's not clear enough. A post menopausal woman, for example has a higher calcium requirement than a 20 year old male. You need to state the numbers in mg and include a pic

submitted by low sodium diet - 8 months ago
  • A: YASSSSSS please!!!!!!

submitted bySnjladybug - 7 months ago
  • A: The daily value (DV) for calcium is 1,300 mg. If the yogurt provides 35% of the DV, that's 0.35 × 1,300 mg, which equals 455 mg of calcium in the 5.3-ounce serving.

    submitted byDaredevil1766 - 7 months ago

Q: Why do none of the images/info state the calcium content? I take meds that interfere with calcium so I need to know how much is in each of the flavors. I need a number, not percentage.

submitted by low sodium diet - 8 months ago
  • A: Hello! A 35% Daily Value means there’s about 455 mg of calcium (35% of the 1,300 mg daily recommendation). I hope this helps!

Q: DOES THIS YOGURT HAVE ANY KIND OF SUGAR IN IT?

submitted by jeanne - 8 months ago
  • A: YES! Erythritol (an alcohol sugar) and sucralose. Too much erythritol can upset your digestive track. Sucralose is one of the good sugars.

submitted bySnjladybug - 7 months ago
  • A: Hello Jeanne! Yes! Our :ratio Protein Yogurt Black Cherry has 3g of sugar. I hope this helps!

Q: Is this Keto friendly?

submitted by Melu - 11 months ago
  • A: YES! KETO! Blueberry is 4 fat, 7 net carb (8 carb minus 1 sugar alcohol), 25 protein. Beats eating Tillamook Zero beef jerky or hero toast at 8pm because you’re short protein. Hey rep you can mark ALL this and more as Keto! At Target: Chobani coconut Zero sugar Greek yogurt (0 fat, 5 net carb, protein 5 - plus 6 cultures), Good & Gather (Target brand) chocolate covered almonds, Kind mini bars, Russel Stover sugar free chocolate (1 carb each but Zylitol so don’t eat more then 2), Chomps jalapeño beef sticks, Pearls olives, Taco Bell taco sauce Mild or Hot, taco seasoning, Mission tortillas full size 1 carb or no carb street taco size, Tillamook cheese (no coating agent so melts great), sugar free jello, caffeinated Sunkist zero orange soda, caffeinated Dr Pepper zero strawberry & cream soda, 7up Tropical Zero soda, A&W root beer zero, Gatorade zero. Veggies/fruit is really fresh! 3 pack bell peppers, mini peppers, sliced mushrooms, medley tomatoes, red onions, broccoli, green beans, raspberries! I ❤️ my Keto food and I always have olives and a kind bar in my bag.

Q: Is there any good bacteria/probiotics in this? Any vitamin D?

submitted by cdm813 - 1 year ago
  • A: L. bulgaricus is a probiotic to aid in digestion, to prevent diarrhea, and to relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. S. thermophilus improves digestion, particularly for those with lactose intolerance. It also helps with gut health, immune system, potentially reducing inflammation and promoting a healthy gut microbiome.

submitted bySnjladybug - 7 months ago
  • A: Good day! Yes, it has vitamin D and we use cultures L. Bulgaricus and S. Thermophilus on our Ratio Protein probiotic yogurt. I hope this helps!

Q: Does this particular yogurt not contain any live and or active cultures? I'm not seeing it in the ingredients list.

submitted by Mae - 2 years ago
  • A: The two cultures are good for gut health, digestion, post, antibiotic, diarrhea, immune system, lactose intolerance. If you have IBS skip the yogurt and head on over to Target’s drug department for Align probiotics. It contains proprietary cultures you can’t find anywhere else.

submitted bySnjladybug - 7 months ago

Q: What is the "natural flavor"?

submitted by Doris Dee - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi Doris! Natural flavor is any flavor component that comes from a spice, fruit, vegetable, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf, or similar plant material, meat, poultry, or other natural product. Natural flavors function as flavoring and do not impact nutritional value. Natural flavors are found in many foods sold today.

Q: Why does it contain carrageenan?

submitted by Jane - 25 days ago
  • A: Great question! Carrageenan is an ingredient derived from red and purple seaweed that’s used to thicken foods and help prevent ingredients from separating. In our :ratio Protein Yogurt, it helps create a smooth, creamy texture and keeps everything well blended. Thanks for reaching out!

Q: Should it be thick and almost chunky like?

submitted by Fitandfresmom - 2 months ago
  • A: Yep! Ratio PROTEIN tends to be thicker and denser than regular yogurt due to the extra protein, so a chunkier or heavier texture can be totally normal.

    disappointed

Was attracted the the fact that it has 25g of protein, but was very disappointed on how sweet it tastes. I believe your company can make a good product without all the added sweetners! On a good note i liked the texture, but could not take how sweet it is!! Too bad I bought 2 should've bought 1 :/

    Horrible artificial sweetener taste

Liked the 25-gram protein level but couldn't get past the artificial sweetener after taste. Will find another high-protein yogurt that uses a natural sweetener.

This is ratio protien review, taste is very very sweet, good texture, but the claim of no artificial sugar is just bypassed by using sulcralose. New name, different game. Disappointed, I'd rather real cane sugar that this synthetic sweetener

    Erythitol needs to go

Ratio has been a major part of my weight loss journey for the past 1.9 years, eating it twice a day. Lately I find them normal creamy texture has changed to a gel-like texture but no change in the vanilla flavor. Now research is showing a link to M.AC.E. due to erythritol artificial sweetener. Since I am in my 60's I will no longer purchase Ratio. My hope is the manufacturer changes the sweetener to make it safer to consume. I have changed to a stevia sweetened product that offers 20 gms of protein.

Yummy! Don't mix for a better consistancy

For a high protein yogurt, this is amazing. Its not "chunky" like other yogurts I've tried and it doesn't have a weird after taste either. I've learned that not mixing it when you open it makes it creamier. If you mix it, it gets a weird texture. I've only tried strawberry so I hope other flavors are just as good!

    perfect from heaven

This is really good. I just tried it for the first time (saw it at the store) and decided to come to their website just to say how good it is. I wasn't sure about it so I ignored it in my fridge for a few days in favor of the usual brand I get which starts with an F and ends with an age, and i get that one 0% fat and plain for protein purposes. Can you imagine what happened to me this morning when i finally peeled the lid off this thing and took a bite. It is creamy...soft..visually it almost looks like frosting but the taste and weight/texture of it is basically just delicious vanilla yogurt. Sweet. Not sickeningly sweet. Thick. Not suspiciously thick. Creamy. Not wet. And only 3g sugar...will be buying more products.

    Great taste with Results

I have just started my weight loss journey and have been looking into maximizing my protein intake at every meal. So far, your :ratio protein-dairy snack has hit the spot over all the other brands. I have read other people's reviews about using Sucralose as a sweetener and understand their concerns, but your company is also making a low-sugar, high-protein snack for a specific market niche. Maybe in the future your company may tweak the recipe to better meet everyone's needs, but for now, I like your product and will continue to use it to fulfill my "Protein Goals" and help with my weight loss and muscle gain.

Incredible Product, but remove the fake sugar!

I was SO EXCITED to see this at Safeway today. I am embarking on a metabolic reset and getting 25 grams of protein in one cup of yogurt is a game-changer. But I have to agree with others, the sucralose is a bummer. I haven't eaten fake sugar in 30 years and it didn't even occur to me to look out for it in your product b/c it is so unnecessary. Yogurt tastes great with the natural sweetness of the milk. If someone wants to go home and stir a Splenda of their own in, they can! I would eat one of these *every* day if you remove the sucralose and buy them for my commercial kitchen customers as well.

I was really shocked by the texture! I’ve had a lot of yogurt in 60 years. This was a sturdy yogurt. Almost like a proper mousse! It has no metallic aftertaste because not artificially sweetened. Peach is by far my favorite! Nice job!

    Not tasty, waste of money

This is so gross. I was hoping it would be similar to the vanilla yogurt they made - which was almost like a dessert when you add in their granola. The texture of this is thick and the flavor is sour. It isn't even fixed by adding granola.
