Often the emphasis in preaching, teaching, and writing is placed on Christ's death and resurrection. These aspects of Jesus's ministry are obviously essential, but so is His life. Through Christ's death we received forgiveness and reconciliation; however, His life provides us with something that is equally essential: an example. Without His example, godliness becomes a nebulous notion that can mutate into a religion that doesn't reflect its founder.

About the Author

Dharius Daniels is the founder and senior pastor of Kingdom Church in New Jersey, a vibrant ministry that has grown into a congregation of more than six thousand members. Dharius has been featured in magazines such as Epitome, Relevant, and Outreach, and has been a guest on TBN's Praise the Lord and The Word Network's Rejoice in the Lord, and a speaker at Yale Divinity School and Princeton Theological Seminary. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Shameka, have two sons.
