⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic job by the management at Target Visalia North (Store #2469) handling the Pokémon 30th Anniversary drop. Everything was organized, fair, and smooth despite the huge demand. The manager and team were professional, friendly, and handled the crowd brilliantly. Great experience!

I loved that people were limited to one of each in store and that you just had to arrive and go get a slip. I was worried about the length of the line but it was moving quickly and everyone that wanted the product was able to get one, as well as the promo!

We were standing in line after receiving our tickets for the tins. We had two tickets, one for myself and my boyfriend. A girl walked by the line asking if anybody wanted a ticket. We thought it was only one per person, but she gave it to my boyfriend. I watched an older man walk up to the register and have four tickets (I’m assuming for his children, but they were not anywhere near him), and was able to pay with the four tickets (8 tins total) by himself. So we figured maybe it was okay to have three. We make it up to the til to pay. The lady checking us out was very friendly to us. She takes the three tickets and gives us 6 tins. Another target employee, Jessica, walks up and asks us what’s going on here. We explain a girl was walking by trying to give up the ticket and ended up giving it to us. She interrupts us to state that it’s only one ticket per person. My boyfriend starts to explain how a man was able to buy 8 tins with 4 tickets at the til beside us. The target employee that checked that customer out agreed that he did. My boyfriend then asked if he could take the third ticket, exit the store, and come back in for a completely different transaction. Again, Jessica interrupted him to say “there’s one, two, of you, so that would be four tins, but if you want to argue with me then you could get zero tins.” My boyfriend calmly said, “I’m not trying to argue I’m just asking a question, but whatever.” I took the third ticket out of my bag that the employee had given back to me, and Jessica then took the ticket out of my hand quite aggressively and walked away. It was an extremely rude and unprofessional interaction, as we were genuinely explaining what had happened and asking a question, and were completely disregarded.
