rocket & rex pads come in various sizes, and are great for housebreaking puppies, lining crates and playpens, managing leaks from older, incontinent friends, placing under food and water bowls, whelping, and for travel with your pet. Our pads' durable constraction will last for hundreds of washes.
For best results, machine wash separately in cold water. Don't use bleach or fabric softener as they will reduce absorbency. Best to line dry, but you can also tumble dry low heat.

Q: I love the idea of reusable pee pads but how often do I need to wash these?

A: Thanks so much for your question! Washing frequency really depends on use. If they're used for potty training or incontinence, then washing frequency will depend on if your pup did #1 or #2. With urine, we typically recommend washing the pads daily. They come in sets of 2 and 4, so you should always have extras on hand. If you're using them as crate liners or food and water mats, you don't have to wash them as often. Don't use bleach or fabric softener when washing as that will reduce the pads' absorbency. If there is a lingering smell from urine, you can use a bit of OxyClean or baking soda to try to remove the odor.

Best absorbency of other pads i have used
I use these under the cat water fountain because one of my cats splashes water all over the floor and this pad is so absorbent The pad is not soaked through like with other products that I have tried.

Dont waste your money.
Sure, these are pads that your dog can pee on. But only get them if you enjoy having to clean the floor underneath every time there is pee because it soaks right through the bottom. These are not at all absorbent, and I’m pretty sure a plain bath mat would absorb more and not leak through like this mat does.
Very durable material. I immediately put these down for where my dogs have their accidents the most. These have turned out to be a game changer for me. They are super easy to wash and finally no odor ! I will definitely be purchasing again when in need.
We LOVE these training pads. After trying several other products and spending too much money, we found these and immediately got two sets. We use them for potty training our beagle puppy. We used two pads to cover his entire area in a small area of the carpeted living room. When he had an accident, we just took the dirty one, replaced it with clean one, and washed the dirty one. That way we always protected the carpet and didn’t have to worry about the exposed carpet. We like these because they are soft so he could sleep on them and they are washable. They still work after being washed a lot, and we loaned them to neighbors who also needed puppy pads and they loved them too.
Washable pet pads?! It seems like such a simple concept that should’ve been mainstream a long time ago!! These pads are absorbent and great quality. Come out of the wash nicely. AND can we say eco friendly?! I suggest using these for potty training kiddos too on couches, places where they sit and don’t want to clean up a mess!
The rocket & rex Washable Reusable Pee Pads for Dogs (large ) are very very absorbent. I have a large Great Pyrenees and she uses these pads when we are out and she stays home alone. The disposable pads always leak and don't absorb much. The only down side of the washable ones is I don't want to put in my washer so I take it in the yard hose them down then wash out hand outside to dry.
These reusable pads for dogs are great! I love that it is a two-pack. The only question is, "Why didn't I think of these first?". Cute, versatile, washable, and effective! They fit perfectly in our dog kennel and clean up easily if necessary! Love this!
I was curious to see if these pads would also work for cats, and we've had some success with our cat, ironically named Rocket. These pads helped on several occasions where we've had unfortunate accidents, and they removed the odor and were incredibly absorbent. However, I should note we tried these on hardwood floor, not on carpet.
The resuseable pads do not have an anti-skid bottom. The pads are thinnervthan expected. I am glad that the pads do not have a scent. They will be great to have for dogs as well as senior pets. The pads are blue on the bottom.

Cute and durable dog training pads. These come in a 2 pack and fabric is decorated with teal dog bones on a grey background. They fold up nicely and can be stored back in the packaged if needed (package has a zip top). Overall pleased.
Thin but absorbent reusable and washable puppy pads. Would help save money as they can be thrown in the washer and reused over and over. Has a cute bone pattern on one side and a solid color on the other side. The seems weren’t sowed that well though as there was several sags that my dog liked to pull on.
These pads are super absorbent, fairly stuff prior to fist wash, and the fabric is really soft. They're pretty big which is perfect for our lab/pit mix, and when folded into this, 2/3 of a pad covers the bottom of her whole kennel.
