About the Author

Jarrod Davis is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. He has pastored several churches since 2012, served on the staff of both the North Carolina and Western NC Conferences of the United Methodist Church, and now serves as Lead Editor of Adult Curriculum for the United Methodist Publishing House. A native of Wayne County, North Carolina, where their family farm dates back to 1776, Jarrod holds degrees from both North Carolina State and Duke University, meaning he has twice as many opportunities to cheer against the University of North Carolina. Jarrod lives in North Carolina with his wife, two daughters, and too many animals that Jarrod swore he was not going to be the one to take care of, but finds himself taking care of anyway.
