A Forbidden Ex's Older Sister Romance
“I always thought it was the firsts that matter, but now I know that it’s the lasts that stay with you.” Rowdy St. James (age 25) is a tattoo artist. In college he was an all-star football player up until he dropped out of college at the end of his freshman year. That’s where he got the nickname, Rowdy, because he was wild and unpredictable. Salem Cruz (age 28) grew up in Loveless Texas with a pastor father. She left at age 18 due to her father’s restrictive and judgmental ways. Her younger sister Poppy and her were friends with Rowdy, their neighbor who lived with a foster family. 10 years later and Salem comes to work with Rowdy. Both characters are so strong yet so vulnerable too. The more we learn about Rowdy’s past the more my heart breaks for him. It wasn’t smooth sailing but these two finally found their HEA. A lot of nice scenes about trust and love thrown in with the cutest dog pal! Of course I continue to love the friend cameos and how they continue to support each other no matter what. And onto Asa next.
