Second chance high school crush romance
‘To anyone who needs a reminder that you are awesome just the way you are’ Nash Donovan (age 25) is prone to broody moodiness. He hates his mom’s husband so much he moved out when he was just a little boy. Luckily ‘Uncle’ Phil helped him and his friends find their way and helped them become amazing tattoo artists. The book begins with learning ‘Uncle’ Phil is actually ‘Dad’ which rocks Nash’s world. Saint Ford (age 25) is achieving her dreams of having a successful career as a Nurse. Unfortunately she was an awkward teen who was chubby, had pimples and was a nerd. This really lowered her self esteem and although she is now a beautiful swan she still can’t get over her inferior feelings. Made worse by Nash who was her crush and overhearing some mean things he said. Nash and Saint actually both deal with feelings of not belonging. Their connection is instant and he is the sweetest as he really tries to break down Saint’s barriers and win her trust. They are doing well together until Saint gets in her head and then runs. Nash was a very lovable character and you just want to hug him and support him. There are some nice steamy scenes that lead to an HEA that melts your heart. Very nice to see the character cameos as we meet baby RJ and get to celebrate Rule and Shaw’s wedding 💝
