The book is beautiful but when I received my book the back was covered is some kind of glue that doesn’t come off I was very disappointed.

So amazing
This book is the best thing i have read in a while, its gut/heart wrenching, and so beautiful. Its written in such a way that doesn't romanticize the horrible experiences the two endure which i appreciate. This book is seriously one of the best books i have ever read, i experienced so many emotions while reading it. Highly recommend!

So good!
"They're still beating, as long as they're still beating, you're okay. That was a wild ride. This was my second Jennifer Hartmann book, & it didn't disappoint! But before you read this book, just make sure to take a look at the trigger warnings before reading-what they go through is pretty brutal & is very detailed. This book was tough. It was dark & raw, but it was also done really well. I really rooted for Dean & Cora. Their experience was super unique & not ideal but man I loved how the author played out their survival during, but mostly after-the basement. It was emotional & sometimes draining but in the best way for these characters. Cora & Dean's story is a dark, beautiful, tragic story of survival & what comes after such a horrendous event.
