Good cooler
Great price, put the silicone on the zipper- makes a difference. Appears to be well made. Time will tell. Happy with purchase.

Zipper literally falls apart
The rubber material of the zipper literally crumbles after four to five years, even if the bag is rarely used. This renders it unzipable and most unusable because it won’t retain cold for nearly as long. (The bag is stored in a garage cabinet in California and has been used only three to four times a year. )

Cooler Replacement
I had bought this cooler to replace one I had purchased years ago. The old one was falling apart at the seems. The soft sided coolers are amazing. I use them in my business to transport frozen packages of smoked meats to my customers. It will keep the meat frozen for a very long time. Very easy to carry with the handles or the shoulder strap. Quick shipping as well.

Love this cooler ONLY LASTS TWO YEARS
We love this cooler so much we have bought it three times as my husbands lunch cooler but sadly this third one just crashed and burned FOR THE SAME REASON! The zipper failed AGAIN! Every two years ago the zippers go on these. The rtic products are great and we have some amazing bigger coolers but I might advise getting a yeti instead of this until they fix the zipper on this.

Poor zippers
Do not buy as the zipper will break within a year or two. Terrible design the cooler is nice. They shouldve used a zipper like the yeti does as this waterproof zipper is awful.

Not a good cooler
I've purchased a lot of stuff from this company and came to trust their product. I purchased this cooler to replace an older worn out little bit smaller cooler I had. I hate this cooler the zipper is almost impossible to work, the pouch on the front of the cooler is useless the handles are not user friendly and it would be nice if there was a carry handle in the middle of the lid or something. Not well designed poor design and functionality for RTIC as a brand!

Not worth it. .
I had my 20 can cooler for 2 months and used it maybe twice. The zipper pull broke. Rtic replaced it free of charge. Thanks. Fast forward to almost 2 years in. Maybe used it 8-10 times now? Used the Rtic lubricant a few times to keep the zipper running smoothly. Went to open it and the entire end of the zipper ripped. . the actual sealant material. I would NOT recommend these. I was offered 10% off a new one when I contacted Rtic. Why would I purchase another one?!?! The other one we have had a year longer had the zipper just fall apart on it. 2 in 3 years! Not a fan.

Working great
All I have heard since I bought this is: "I love that cooler! Where did you get it? I need one of those!" I needed a cooler to put emergency meds in for my athletes as it is too hot to leave them out to bake in the sun. It's perfect to keep them dry while allowing an ice pack to keep them cool. It also helps that it isn't in our school colors so it is easier for the kids to find on a busy football sideline. I actually decided to keep them in it 24/7 as the AC isn't working correctly inside the school either. Zipper works great with liberal application of the zipper lubricant.

30 can cooler
I have the 12 can one and haven't had any problems. I purchased the 30 can one and the zipper is shot. Used the lube, but the rubber over mode started to flake and jam. It still keeps ice. Maybe the one I got was in the warehouse too long. Like others stated, they need to correct this problem.

Love the cooler. The zipper breaks
The zipper breaks and then you have a unusable cooler. I will not buy another rtic soft side cooler. All 4 of my coolers had this issue with the zipper.

Very poor quality
Very poor quality; the zipper mechanism doesn't work and broke the second time I used it. I do not recommend it don't waste your money on this product.

Soft cooler zipper broke after only a few uses!
Beware that the zipper on the soft cooler is terrible. I’m way outside my warranty window but only sure the cooler a handful of times and the zipper came apart rendering the cooler useless. For this price I would expect the quality to hold up. Less than 10 uses and it’s useless. Extremely disappointing.

DO NOT BUY THESE COOLERS.
The zippers are very difficult to operate and often fail in my opinion. Rtic will not stand by their products.

Horrible design for the price!
Not worth the price! Zipper sucks. Extremely tough to open and close without needing to hold it down! Especially while hands are full at the beach. You need to two hands to open and close the cooler and pocket too tight to fit anything in it. Ridiculous too expensive for horrible design
