Not worth it. .
I had my 20 can cooler for 2 months and used it maybe twice. The zipper pull broke. Rtic replaced it free of charge. Thanks. Fast forward to almost 2 years in. Maybe used it 8-10 times now? Used the Rtic lubricant a few times to keep the zipper running smoothly. Went to open it and the entire end of the zipper ripped. . the actual sealant material. I would NOT recommend these. I was offered 10% off a new one when I contacted Rtic. Why would I purchase another one?!?! The other one we have had a year longer had the zipper just fall apart on it. 2 in 3 years! Not a fan.

All I have heard since I bought this is: "I love that cooler! Where did you get it? I need one of those!" I needed a cooler to put emergency meds in for my athletes as it is too hot to leave them out to bake in the sun. It's perfect to keep them dry while allowing an ice pack to keep them cool. It also helps that it isn't in our school colors so it is easier for the kids to find on a busy football sideline. I actually decided to keep them in it 24/7 as the AC isn't working correctly inside the school either. Zipper works great with liberal application of the zipper lubricant.

The zipper breaks and then you have a unusable cooler. I will not buy another rtic soft side cooler. All 4 of my coolers had this issue with the zipper.

Great for work , Keeps my drinks ice cold, Even after work I stoped and got a qaurt of ice-cream and put it in my cooler and it still had frost on it once I arrived. Absolutely a great cooler!

Soft cooler zipper broke after only a few uses!
Beware that the zipper on the soft cooler is terrible. I’m way outside my warranty window but only sure the cooler a handful of times and the zipper came apart rendering the cooler useless. For this price I would expect the quality to hold up. Less than 10 uses and it’s useless. Extremely disappointing.

Not worth the price! Zipper sucks. Extremely tough to open and close without needing to hold it down! Especially while hands are full at the beach. You need to two hands to open and close the cooler and pocket too tight to fit anything in it. Ridiculous too expensive for horrible design

Love the cooler. I have six rtic coolers in different sizes and types. I have also given several as gifts. This particular cooler’s zipper broke. No luck repairing it.

High quality soft cooler
I purchased the 20 can ultra tough soft cooler in pale pink. So glad I opted for 20 can vs 30 can size since this cooler was easy to carry but any bigger would have been too cumbersome (I’m 5’7” for reference). I packed some drinks and snacks in the cooler with tons of ice for an overnight trip. After opening and closing several times to grab items, there was still ice in the cooler the next day and the drinks were ice cold. Yes the zipper is tough to open and close but it makes sense to get a water tight seal (glad they include a zipper lubricant for use over time). I’m super happy with this cooler!

Zipper is very hard to open/close. From reading others comments, tends to break and I can see why. I am hopeful for 5 years out of this - rest of it is awesome. I have used it a couple of times - mixture of soft drinks & water bottles, froze the water and chilled sodas so ice would last longer and I was happy with performance.

Just what we needed
This was a replacement of our less insulated cooler and it served its purpose. It has been primarily used in summer tournaments where we needed it the most. Out in the heat it kept our items nice and cold. It is nearly identical in interior space to our previous cooler but obviously larger because of the insulation. The empty cooler weight is fine but manageable when filled with items and ice. I normally kept in our wagon. The zipper does take a bit of force to use but not to the point that it can’t be moved. The pocket up front is useful but limited. Storage for non-perishables such as forks would have been nice but we would have to opt for the hard cooler instead which adds weight. An easy access cover would make it more convenient but we would sacrifice the insulation. Overall, we’re happy with it despite not having some convenient features such as storage.

Title says it all. Gave it two stars because it kept drinks cool but the zipper began catching on the first use and broke after a handful of times. I did not use it frequently and kept it clean and indoors. Tried to file a warranty claim but it was past the year warranty. I would buy elsewhere.
