Terrific shoe!
I love the Devotion X Max 2 so much that I just got 2 more colors. They're great for a good walk and for wearing when I'm on a concert photography shoot roaming around trying to cover the angles — my feet and legs don't get tired.

I would not recommend buying these shoes; they are totally not good for walking. I was hoping I needed to just break them in, but nope, I walked with them for a week; now they are sitting in a bag to go to Goodwill

Beware of ankle pressure
Have other Ryka shoes however these have a very high tie string area creating pressure on the top part of the ankle making the shoe very uncomfortable.

Devotion X Max 2 Walking Sneaker
Feels good, but the fit is not exactly right. After wearing all day at my job (which is why I bought this shoe) I find my foot getting cramps and making me concerned about wearing it the next time. I really need the cushioning and stability which this shoe provides, but not the most comfortable fit. Like the seams are not right or something not to do with the actual fir or the shoe, perhaps the manufacturing. My daughter (a nurse) highly recommended them as she has worn them since she was in high school as a cheerleader!

Uncomfortable mesh causing blisters
Ever since the Ryka logo has changed, the shoe quality and comfort has significantly declined! The upper mesh is so stiff that I am getting blisters. I would rather pay higher prices for what used to be a superior than less money for something that may look trendy but is soooooo uncomfortable. I will have to find another brand.

Saved my feet!
I have foot pain and work 12 hour shifts. I tried custom inserts that didn’t work. If you have high arches these shoes are great! I bought two pairs one from Kohl’s and one from this website!

Way too big in toes & visible glue on fabric!
These run very large in the toes - it seems most of there shoes do . This is 4th pair I've had to return and this pair has glue on the fabric that is very visible . The Rezorb was the only pair that fit like 9.5. I even went to a 9 on the trail sneakers and still too big. Literally never had this issue with any other sneakers and I'm 57. I'm a 9.5 always . I'm getting tired of going to UPS

Wish I could return
Hard to say if it the design or construction of the shoes. Either way, no matter how I lace up the shoes as soon as I have walked several feet, my feet pronate. I have owned several pairs of Ryka with much success. These shoes felt good when I initially tried them on in my house so I went for my normal walk. Within 5 min or so, pronation started. I stopped and tried to adjust the shoes (adjusting the lacing) but could not eliminate the pronation. Feels like the shoes tilt to the inside. Wish I could return but I wore them outside for a walk.

Good cushioning and stability for walking
I bought this shoe specifically to do city walking. It has a lot of cushioning, feels quite stable and breathes. I bought my usual size 10W and is a little big. I switched the inner soles to something with more structure and that seemed to take up enough space to give me a better fit. I never wear socks, so that may contribute to the loose fit. I bought the blue and it is not that attractive of a shoe, but it is functional.

Wonderful Shoes for Walking
I have lots of foot problems and also balance problems. These Devotion style shoes are wonderful for walking -- great foot-bed, good to prevent pronation, extremely comfortable. Recommend without reservation!!

Love These!
This is the second pair of this style. I bought the first in a blush color and loved them so much I had to go back and get the baby blue! They are comfortable right out of the box with great cushioning and arch support. I am a teacher and on my feet on concrete floors all day and my feet and legs do not get tired at all. They are true to size, but are a bit wider than other Ryka styles. I probably could have worn the medium width, but I like wide width to accommodate my bunion. Do not hesitate to buy these!

Incredible style, comfort, and cushioning! I have two pairs of the Ryka Devotion X2 walking sneakers in size 11 and I was excited to try these, the Ryka Devotion X Max 2. Great comfort as expected, however, the same size (11M) ran slightly larger than my Devotion X2 sneakers. I could have went with a size 10M or 10.5M. Unfortunately these don’t come in a 10.5M so I will make it work because I love them so much!

Not a great fit for me
I bought a size 11 which turned out to be too big. I had planta faciitis and so I'm always buying shoes with maximum plush to cushion my feet as i walk or run. Whilst walking the shoe's sole doesn't have enough support for the feet as every footsteps i took i felt the imprint of pebbles and the ground. It was like walking barefooted. I normally buy Hoka or Axis. I wanted to try a different brand but I guess this brand ain't for me
