It really is true that these shoes do help with the pain of plantar fasciitis! The arch support keeps the foot from putting so much pressure on the heel and the cushioning of the shoe's heel area allows less pressure on the heel area. Have found that the shoes can be worn for long periods of time without feeling "confined". The structure of the shoe is such that it laces far enough up on the foot to provide ankle support as well. Ryka is now my "go to" brand for stylish, comfortable walking shoes.

Best shoes ever! Very comfortable and lightweight! I have back issues and they have been the best I have found yet! Not saying I’m exactly pain free but it’s definitely better than other shoes I’ve tried!

RYKA Devotion X is a solid 10. I own 2 pair of Devotion x in light colors and love them. Recently I’ve noticed my foot is now a 10.5 instead of 10 so I went searching for a pair of running or walking shoes in a darker color for this trip. After trying on at least 15 different sneaker brands, models, sizes, widths, with various drop & stability options…. None of them worked. Either the 11s were too big or my toe had no room in the 10 1/2’s, or the stability wasn’t right.. it was endless. I ultimately wound up right back with the Ryka devotion x. My medium B foot fits in the size 10 perfectly so I just bought a darker pair. I appreciate the fact that RYKA has kept these reasonably priced in comparison to the much higher priced alternatives. One can’t go wrong with the devotion x or the devotion X2. For me, the devotion X Max has a much higher arch support which is not needed, but could work great for somebody else. The bottom line is, these are amazing sneakers, and you all should give him a try!

This is my 4th pair of Ryka sneakers and I have to say each pair I have bought have been very comfortable. I have been wanting to try these but I waited until they had the color I wanted back in stock. I am very impressed with how comfortable these sneakers really are. They are very cushioned when you walk which I love and they seem very stable so my feet don’t feel like they want to wobble onto the sides. The arch support is good and they breathe well, my feet don’t get too hot in them.I wish Ryka didn’t stop making the Devotion Swift because that is my favorite overall but these will do the job nicely as well.

I have pronated feet and need a lot of arch support. This shoe did not have as much support as the Devotion X walking shoe which has decent support and fits me well.

Sneaker is comfortable, same arch support as other Rykas. Grandma also likes the grip and stability.

Past shoes have been a perfect fit for me. With Morton’s neuroma it’s crucial I have a good fit with roomy toe box. I noticed the shoes made in China are great shoes. The ones made in Vietnam have an awkward shape and the toe box is not generous. Big difference when you have tempermental feet Ryka, please give Vietnam the mold China uses.

Devotion X has just the right arch for me. I have ordered 4 pairs in the past. Don’t ever get rid of this model shoe!

I was feeling this shoes were getting a little wore out, tired feet after being on them all day (I’m also 66). When I looked up when I purchased them, I was surprised I’ve had them for over a year and a half. I used to always went a size 8 but was told should be wearing 8.5 so bought that size and a wide so I can add an extra in sole for cushion and wear thick socks which I like to for work. These have been very comfortable and I get lots of comments on the cute periwinkle color as one person called them. This has been my 4th pair of Ryka shoes, I l love them!

Great color and fit. The support is great for my high arch. I use mostly for working out at the gym. I really like the shoe, this is my 3rd time purchasing. It just wish the laces were not so long. I always have to change them out with shorter laces.

I purchased these shoes about 6 months ago and wear them probably once or twice a week. Within a couple of wears, the tread on the bottom of the shoe started to peel off. I just looked at them today, and the top of the shoe is peeling away from the sole. This is really disappointing for the price I paid for these.

Love these shoes, please don’t change them!! I am on my 3rd pair.

Garbage ! Worn two weeks and stitched area already fallung apart. In my 65 years of sneakers, this is the first pair. Can’t return - no receipt, been too long. All I can do is alert others to buy elsewhere. One star is one too many stars.

This is my sixth purchase of Ryka walking sneakers and they are consistently well fitting and comfortable.

Nice shoe. Vert disappointed as within last year, Rykä has changed, making footbed wider. For someone with narrow feet, in the past I could wear Ryka. Why do so many manufacturers tend to accommodate wide feet, rather than narrow feet?

These sneakers are the most comfortable I have found yet and I’ve tried so many! I wear an AFO Brace on my right foot, so I ordered the wide width and the fit is great! Besides the comfort, they are a very nice looking sneaker! I highly recommend and will be purchasing another pair.

Love these walking shoes! Theses are my second pair.
