bizarre and cheap—do not buy
never experienced anything like the process of building this thing. never before seen instructions that are just factually incorrect, telling you to put the wrong parts together? and at the end, you have to screw the table top on to the rest of it, but there are no holes to show you how to line it up... well, there are lots of holes, but they seem to go to a different set of table legs, because theyre several inches off. it almost looked like they'd sent the wrong top with the legs. in the end i had to break out a ruler and pencil and do the math to place it in the center, which was made more difficult by the fact the table top isn't completely square. at that point, you can get much better and professionally made stuff at ikea for a similar price. maybe worst of all though: the 'shelf' isn't a functional shelf. it's a thin piece of card you slide in. kinda like the bottom of a cheap dresser drawer. i think just a coffee table book or two would make the whole thing bow in the middle, and my cat sleeping on it might make it crack in two. one star because the color and design are cute. but if it wasn't such a pain to get it to the post office, i'd send it back. wish i could get my money back. i never leave reviews but wish i'd had a warning to look elsewhere.
