Easy build, but poor quality with inconsistent service
Quality: it’s made of composite wood. The tone is neutral with yellowish undertones. The finish feels a little bit grainy. One of the rods came too short. Target was not helpful in getting a replacement part, and initially told me that I would need to deconstruct the piece and send it back to get a new table. I contacted the manufacturer, they sent me a replacement piece, but it was too thick so it didn’t fit. I contacted both the manufacturer and Target, and this time Target said they can contact the manufacturer to get a replacement piece. Inconsistent service? Build: this was the best part of the purchase. It’s fairly easy to build and took less than an hour. Overall not a good purchasing experience, bummer.

Mid century coffee table
Took a while to figure out how to put this together. Once I did it seemed fairly was to assemble but had a hard time getting the screws in. Once assembled pretty unimpressed with the quality. Another person that left a review compared it to West Elm quality and I disagree completely as I have several pieces from West Elm. Already had a chip in one corner and the finish seems like it will not hold up long to daily use. Overall I am not impressed.

Plastic crap
We've had this table - and matching end tables - for several months and they are terrible. The laminate looks and feels like plastic. It is also peeling off of one end table and has developed random chips/holes on the coffee table. Assembly was difficult. Using very little pressure, the screws quickly stripped the pieces they were supposed to go into, and caused cracks. I can't believe Target is charging so much for such crap. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This table was a great purchase! Relatively easy to assemble, packed well, and looked exactly as described. It came with a few scuffs on the side of the wood, but that’s to be expected with a shipped package, and not very noticeable. The lines are clean and mid-century inspired. The price was great compared to similar models I’ve seen online at West Elm etc. highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable option.

Great table
The table looks great and was pretty easy to put together with simple instructions. As other reviewers mentioned there are some screws with instructions to use a phillips head that would be better to use a power drill and there were two part labels switched but it was easy to figure out. Overall the table is very sturdy and I love that it is real wood.

Nicer looking than I had expected!
I love the look of the table which turned out to be much nicer looking than I thought I could expect for the price. The lower level is great to stash a computer and/or other items to instantly clear the table for a clean look. It has a retro vibe to it that appeals to me, it reminds me of a table we had growing up.

Difficult to assemble
I'm giving this coffee table two stars because it was extremely difficult to assemble. The instructions say not to use power tools but it was impossible to assemble without a power drill. The table itself is good quality for the price, but again the assembly was very difficult.

It's perfect!
Loving this coffee table! It arrived very well packaged with no flaws. In the instructions there were a couple things that had their labels switched but it wasn't a big deal and was easy enough to figure out. The table looks even better than I expected and feels very sturdy and well-made. There are tables out there that look like this one, but I especially love the slats on the bottom of this one! You could put books there or just leave them empty (like I've done for now) and it will still look good. The price seemed so reasonable for this beautiful table. I also noticed the wood type isn't named in the description which would be helpful to add, but I think it might be rubberwood.
