Q: How much weight this thing can hold? One Target staff says 20.9lbs. Other says 100lbs. The assembly video on the product page says bottom holds 30lbs., top shelf holds 40lbs. What's your final answer?

After awhile, the table wore out and we found out the top is filled with cardboard. The entire top is cardboard wrapped. The bottom is actually the wood piece but I still wouldn’t recommend.

Although this coffee table is reasonably priced, the annoyance of the screws continually coming loose from the bottom makes it seem overpriced to me. Despite my efforts, the screws keep falling out, causing the bottom shelf to shift out of position. I only had one screw left to secure the shelf by the time I noticed the missing screws. Dealing with this constant hassle is a headache; I do not recommend.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this table. I bought it as a temporary solution, but liked it so much, I may keep it in the space permanently. It’s sturdy, a great size, and it was easy to assemble. I’d recommend it anyone looking for a solid coffee table at a very good price.

Easy put together, light weight but sturdy. Cute coffee table! I opened the box with the top upside down, and when I put it together and flipped it upright realized the corner was damaged while in the box. And since it was already put together, I couldn’t return it for replacement. Other than that, I’m super happy with it!

I got it home and it had a dented corner on the table top. Target provided a small credit. I love the table though it’s been perfect and it’s a quality table other than damage that was done when it was moved on a forklift or pallet jack probably.
