Great Little Device
My wife is a prolific photo-shooter with her phone. I am constantly preaching to her to not leave her photos on her phone. For Christmas, I got her this SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable drive for her to dump her photos onto. Before giving it to her, I checked it out with my PC and my Android phone. The PC recognized it right away, but my phone didn't. I discovered that I had to enable my phone to transfer data to and from the USB charging port. Once done, the phone instantly recognized the SanDisk. At Christmas, my wife was delighted, and dumped over 3,000 photos onto the SanDisk, which in turn, I copied over to my PC and one of it's 6TB Black Label hard drives.

BUYER BEWARE - BUY AT OWN RISK
I’m returning this as soon as a replacement SSD from a different brand arrives. I bought this at nearly full price before discovering that this particular model is the subject of several lawsuits for bricking and wiping out all of your data. There are apparently requests for a class action suit. This is not good news for me considering that I’ve just stored 2+ years worth of work in it. I’m hoping this review helps others - only buy this at a steep discount and use it to store data you don’t care about. If you’d like to learn more, simply look up the model number and read through the numerous articles that’ll pop up in the results.

Nice easy
It works and hasn’t deleted my files yet. Got this on a major sale for $70 hence why I bought it. Speeds are fast enough for a typical user using as storage
