The flavor is smooth and creamy, but not overly processed like some other American cheeses. It melts beautifully on burgers and grilled cheese, and it’s also great straight out of the fridge for a quick snack. I love that it’s made with real, natural ingredients—makes me feel better about what I’m eating. Definitely a staple in my fridge now!

The Sargento Natural American Sliced Natural Cheese comes in a resealable package. Each slice is separated by a piece of dairy paper. There are 24 fresh slices, each at 70 calories. The slices themselves are smooth and not overly salty. You can Def taste the difference between these and processed American cheese products! The slices do melt slightly, but this natural cheese won't give you that social media worthy cheese pull. But it might make you feel better about what you're eating! The ingredients list is short and simple. Tested it with a classic recipe, grilled cheese. Note the lack of salty flavor may mean you'll want to use salted butter 😉. I'm interested in trying the other Sargento Natural Cheeses.

I use it on our morning breakfast sandwich’s , eggs, , and eat just plain. My toddler is always asking for a slice . It is seriously that good and the flavor is so subtle but yet so delicious.
