I purchased 2 of these hutches and the cabinet bases. I knew Sauder was a quality product. The instructions were very easy to follow. I love that these are made in the USA. I needed something that is easy for me to move around. So even though not real wood this fits my need perfectly. Looks great in my office.

First of all, the unit was excellent quality with very precise holes and spaces for the connectors. Well engineered and fits together perfectly when assembled. Assembly was straight forward as long as you faithfully followed the instructions which were detailed and clear. Assembly of the shelf unit took about an hour. Assembly of the base unit was more complicated because of the doors and drawer and took about 2 hours. My hands were a bit sore afterwards but it was worth it. The unit looks great.
